Description
The goal of this project is the development of an android application for people within the Scuba Diving industry. Creating an online community in which users can store and share all their important diving information such as dive logs, equipment details etc. Users will also be able to actively engage with other members of the community while also taking full advantage of the mapping system to explore the world, searching for new and exciting diving locations.The project will offer the users several features:
1. The ability to store their logs which will be synced up to the cloud for safe keeping and allowing the user to easily view previous diving logs with ease from any Android device.
2. An enriched timeline feature showcasing the users dive logs allowing all members of the community to view and interact after each diving experience.
3. The ability to find and interact with other users in the community through an in-built messaging chat service.
4. An equipment locker allowing users to store away their diving equipment information and receive timely notifications on when different pieces of equipment need to be serviced.
5. The ability to search and explore a mapping system of the entire world to discover new and exciting diving locations.
