(formerly Android Speed Reader)A Speed Reader SE is an app to read text files quickly. Each word is displayed in the middle screen for a short time. Not having to trace across each line of text and down to subsequent lines means one can read much faster. I read at 230 words per minute using Android Speed Reader. The app works with standard txt files that the user puts on their device's storage card.
Many classic novels such as Homer's Odessy are available in txt format for free. Copy them to your device and you have a mini library in your hand.
Next time you are stuck in a queue,at least you'll have something to read.
