SPEED READING
Increase your reading speed in 1.5-2 times straight away! If you wish you could read 3 or even 4 times faster than usual without the slightest loss of meaning.
Reedy uses a technique called RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) allowing you to read with any comfortable speed. Words are shown fast one after another on the same place of the screen which increases the speed of perception of every single word. With RSVP you can read being entirely absorbed into a book.
Look straight at the displayed word and try to perceive it without subvocal articulation. Also, don’t forget to blink. This recommendation can be applied not only to reading :) You should never let your eyes’ surface get dry.

4 ★Needs 1 small fix! Please please add the option to toggle whether the read aloud and speed reader pauses at the end of each line. I want it to pause at paragraph breaks and full stops (periods) but not mid sentence at the end of each line. I can't really use the app without this feature.
2 ★When trying to open a large book (Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson EPUB) the app fails to open it. The book is avout 350mb because it has pictures in it.
4 ★Was good when it worked, with new update does not open. Has been fixed. Love the app
4 ★The TTS is very good, but the app is a bit difficult to use. The doesn't appear to be any way to get back to the app's home screen when reading, none of the buttons are labeled, and the app can't easily reopen the book that's being read if the app has been closed. I think it has something to do with the download path because I can reopen from the Recents folder, but then I lose my place. Also, the TTS occasionally mistakes words for being in a different language and read in a different voice.

4 ★After the "update" on November 3, 2024, I can't even open the app anymore. It crashes immediately. I tried it on my phone and on my tablet, doesn't open. On my tablet I even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, still doesn't open. I've used this app for so many years because it's really useful... but this is the first time it has gotten so bad. I'm just baffled. Please fix! EDIT: Fixed, works fine now. Thanks!
