aRDP is a secure, SSH capable, open source Remote Desktop Protocol client that uses the excellent FreeRDP library and parts of aFreeRDP. Its features include:
- Remote desktop control of computers running any version of Windows except Windows 10 Home. Install a VNC server for Windows 10 Home and use bVNC
- RDP File support in Pro version
- Full Ubuntu 22.04+ support
- Remote desktop control of Linux computers with xrdp installed

How to install aRDP Pro: Secure RDP Client APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download aRDP Pro: Secure RDP Client APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.iiordanov.aRDP-vVaries with device-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Questions & Answers
Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Tested both clients with a linux xrdp server and this one worked perfectly while Microsoft's connected but all it showed was a black screen >.< this was like a year ago, maybe they fixed it but I doubt it... it probably works with a Windows RDP server (surprisingly, of course...), but didn't try...
5 ★I am a professional trader, I recently purchased a tablet to access my VPS to see charts to trade forex, but now I have this RDP software and I just pull up charts on my phone, bypassing the need for a second device, NICE!!!
5 ★Works as described. The best feature that most rdp apps don't have is that this app has the option to enable remote sound in the background.
5 ★Copy the same review from the non pro version: The best RDP android client I have found. Raises the productivity of a Chromebook tenfold. I can now use a Chromebook with excellent battery life to remote into linux, windows PCs etc and do any work I wanted from anywhere without having to worry about which laptop to bring with me, for what jobs I need to accomplish. Incredible utility.
