Description

Roaming Control automatically enables or disables mobile data connection, airplane mode or auto sync based on the currently active network operator.

Roaming Control can also intercept outgoing calls in selected networks, and ask if you want to allow the call.

Besides manually defined network operators, Roaming Control also supports special rules for your home network, for national roaming and for unknown networks. For certain networks, free roaming partner networks are also supported.

+++ Due to changes Google made in Android 5.0 it i+s technically no longer possible (at least for application developers) to toggle data on or off - so we had do drop support for Android 5.0+.

Possible scenarios, where Roaming Control helps you, are:

* Your network provider is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) and uses national roaming to connect to other network providers.

* You want that your mobile data connection automatically turns off as soon as you leave your country (and turns on again when coming back).

* You live near the border and want to avoid outgoing calls when connected to the foreign network.

* You want an easy way to enable data roaming for your Sprint network.

Differences between full version and trial version:

The trial version offers the full functionality, but expires after 7 days.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Works Great
5 ★This really is an essential program for UK customer of Virgin mobile as it allows you to stop national roaming which stops the national roaming so no more moving over to the orange side of EE and their terrible data signal..
5 ★does what it should
5 ★I live near the Michigan border and my phone sometimes roams to AT&T. Telus claims there is no way to prevent that owing to my phone's "advanced" design - and that I'm responsible for any accidental charges that occur. I have no idea why Android phones supposedly can't do this function on their own but since they can't for the time being there's Roaming Control. I used the trial app for 7 days and was very satisfied. So I upgraded to the paid version. I had a small problem but the developer responded promptly to my email and helped me resolve my difficulty. (Thanks, Martin.)
5 ★Great tool to keep data usage under control if you live near the border.
4 ★A very good app, helping me safe guard the unnecessary roaming charge.
5 ★Great app. Very handy.
5 ★Works great
4 ★HTC Amaze 4G is supposed to be able to disable roaming, but doesn't seem to work. My provider (Wind/Ottawa) is supposed to be able to flag your account to not allow roaming, but apparently that doesn't work very well, either. 4 stars for disabling roaming and keeping my monthly bill from rising. I'll give it 5 stars after it can consistently reconnect when the home network is back in range. Excellent work!
5 ★Exactly what I was looking for when I travel into Canada.
3 ★I installed this app because when I am in Canada I have huge issues with data window warnings with this phone. Neither Verizon nor Motorola will claim responsibility and address the problem. Was hoping that this app would negate me having to deal with them one more time. Sadly it didn't correct the problem either.
5 ★Simple and useful
