4 ★Good overall. I have had a few problems getting all episodes to play for specific shows, but good overall.
1 ★Uninstalled immediately as it wasn't readily apparent how to set the app to download from Wifi only. and the UI didn't make much sense to me anyway.
4 ★On the whole, pleased. But I would really like to be able to have the default for 'Zz' to be 'stop at the end of the episode'
1 ★it would'vebe five stars if the text wasn't almost impossible to read in bright sunlight. But it's become extremely haphazard where episode availability is concerned. Shame acast don't read or do anything about these comments.
5 ★Beautiful UI. I haven't been able to find a few shows that I listen to on other platforms. Aside from that I really like this app.
1 ★Stops playing all the time. Sometimes every 2 minutes, even when the shows have been downloaded and it is really annoying. Have tried repeatedly trying to get help from customer support, but still has not fixed the bug. I am going to find the shows I listen to on other podcast apps
2 ★Good, but would be better with swiping function to change between episodes of a podcast (like Spotify has). Also, when I pause from the Lockscreen, the widget disappears, which is incredibly annoying when I want to start again. Pause is not Stop!
1 ★Good content but its very frustrating when the app wont play podcasts. Happens atleast 2x a day "this cant be played now try again later"
1 ★Doesn't restart from where I stopped. When I finally found that point, it finished playing the remainder of a brief section, then stopped again. Impossible to use in my older car. EDIT 26 MARCH - I can't do as the developer asks because I already uninstalled the app.
5 ★Have been using for two weeks. Stable on my S10+, no issues. West Cork is very interesting. Haven't tried anything else yet :-)
1 ★Can't search episodes within the show you want, this results in endless futile scrolling which works IF it decides to load at all.
5 ★Easy to use and wide variety of shows to pick from..and save to your own Acast library.
