1 ★As many others have said this app is complete garbage- it does not work for picking up a truck, it freezes at uploading your photo. We spent an hour trying to get it work. Finally called uhaul, kept getting transfered by people saying they can't help me, until a person said they will transfer me and just hung up. Luckily we found another location which was staffed that day. This was the worst experience I've had with any company or service and made moving extremely stressful.
1 ★Worst app , doesn't work for anything , won't upload photos, won't let you drop off the U-Haul , and the customer service representative we spoke to had no clue. Terrible experience and we will be using a different rental company from now on. Stressful experience to say the least
1 ★Don't bother downloading this app, it doesn't work anyways. Wouldn't upload the pictures so we couldn't proceed to the next step. Just open up the uhaul website on your phone's browser, log in, and proceed with the drop off that way. Wasted a long time with the app thinking it was my phone that was the issue, and using google to search for the issue yielded me no results that answered my issue, it wasn't until looking at these reviews that it's just that the app is garbage.
2 ★Both check in and check out were a pain especially the check in as even though I gave the app permission to take and access photos/pictures, it would no go past it. Started the online chat and the agent was helpful, in the end I followed her recommendation to use Chrome and it finally worked. The process using the app is a pain, lot's of steps and pictures to be taken. Only giving two stars as it has the online chat option and the agent was helpful.
4 ★Works for the most part. Slower than others, and sometimes bugs.. I couldn't take a photo once for a truck to return it (fuel and mikeage). Could be improved..
1 ★This app is terrible. I tried to use it for check out and check in, failed both times.. Requested pictures ans when i took them, it wouldn't allow me to proceed to the next step.. what good is this??? i also called their number and they said they couldn't help me with the app and that no support is available for it. What the hell kind of company releases an app and then says they won't support it... Done with these guys
1 ★The app failed on my Samsung S8 plus at the second step! you have to take a photo of yourself - that's where it stopped. Fortunately, I did not have to rely on the app as there were people at the store to perform the checkin. Another example where you can rely on humans, not technology.
1 ★App did not work. Got stuck on the take photo of mileage and gas gauge. After waiting 30 minutes on hold with customer service, just went to the website through the phone, it is the exact same layout and format as the app. However going through Chrome, it did work for capturing photos from phone. Was able to complete nighttime transaction.
1 ★Absolutely frustrating that this app can't even do what it's designed for. How hard is it to make it so the app will actually upload the photos you take into the form so you can actually continue with the check in or return process? This has been a problem for a long time, and it's a shame that what's supposed to be the most useful part of the app is also the most dysfunctional. FIX THIS!
2 ★Have to agree with the other reviews on the usefulness or lack of it of this app. Downloaded it for pick up and return, but it just won't serve that purpose. Was not able to upload images for mileage. Multiple tries, couple of reinstalls all in vain. Other features are good and useful, but when the main purpose of the app is not met, it's a failure.
1 ★The app kept freezing, then it crashed multiple times. The location did not receive information that was input from the app. Worst app ever.
1 ★This app simply doesn't work. I tried the mobile pick-up option and wasted 45min trying to take photos of myself and license. The app just stays on the same screen, and in the end i had to call the store and the owner had to drive in to help me. It was a huge waste of time and cost me to be way behind schedule. I had the same issue when trying to return the vehicle and gave up, just dropped the key in the drop-off box. Don't rely on this app if you have a tight schedule! you've been warned.
