5 ★This app is a godsend for parking in the city. You're pretty much always guaranteed a parking spot with in reasonable distance, and it's always with a solid discount. The customer service is also incredibly accessable and super convenient. The support team is absolutely lovely and works with you to solve your problems. Biggest tip is to double check that you're looking at the correct day before booking your spot. It can be a little easy to skip over the date if you're not paying attention.
2 ★We pre-booked parking using the app. Arrived to find the parking lot full up and we were turned away. OK, not the app's fault. But their customer service consisted of nothing more than canceling the reservation. No help rebooking. I'm caught in traffic, and have somewhere to be so I don't have time to mess around. Meanwhile I'm waiting for their slow replies to my texts. The point of pre-booking parking is to know that you don't have to worry about finding parking when you need it.
3 ★I would not make a reservation using Best Parking again. The app asked what type of vehicle I had. I drive a mid sized SUV so I chose SUV and paid the $10 premium for a total of $27. There was a sign at the parking lot saying $14.36. The parking attendant was very nice and offered to charge the discounted rate and also told me my vehicle didn't qualify for premium pricing. I was afraid of double paying since I had already charged $27 via the app. Bottom line, overpaid by a lot by using the app.
4 ★I've always had a positive experience in the past when this was bestparking. I used this yesterday after a long time. I made a reservation the day before for an important meeting in NYC. When I got to the parking lot they were full and would not honor the reservation. The said call Parkwhiz and ask for a refund. I did not have much time at that point and had to pick another lot at a much higher price. I reached out to Parkwhiz later and they offered me a $5 credit instead of paying me the difference. Was disappointing. Just made be drop a star in the rating.
5 ★This is a fantastic app! It's saved me 100's of $$$ in parking all around the country in big cities. They show a photo of the garage, a written description of exactly where the garage is located, any garage rules & have a GPS link. There's a 24/7 customer service #, so u can contact a live representative anytime u need help. I once even called them on the way to the garage to change what credit card I was using. The rep was very polite, professional & took care of switching my cards immediately.
4 ★One of the biggest hassles in NY is parking, especially when you are trying to make a show. This app not only shows me what prices the lots in the area are, but I can choose the one I want, pay, and reserve a spot before I go, and the app will give you directions. And, if the plans cancel, you can cancel the spot with the press of a button
2 ★Was better before the update! In the previous version, you could see the # parking spots available, pictures of the entrance, the streets you enter from vs walking entrance, whether it is above ground or underground parking garage, etc. The new version got rid of all these features and now i don't know any detail. It's all by chance now which is unfortunate. I had to update my app bc I got a new phone. Booo Best Parking!
5 ★The app is great and makes shopping for a lower rate very convenient. However, when the parking lot posts open hours until 11 p.m. and one arrives at 4:30 pm ready for a night out in Hollywood only to be told that the lot closes at 10 p.m., that can be disappointing, especially when the movie one is seeing ends past 10 p.m. This happened when all the signs at the lot also said that they were open until 11 p.m. No one told ParkWhiz so they could make changes to the Best Parking.app. I called their toll free number at 8:15 a.m. the next morning and laid out my difficulties the evening before. Arriving at 4:15 p.m. forfeiting my chance to cancel with no attendant present (not ParkWhiz's fault) only to be told 30 minutes later after calling the parking lot operator there was no attendant present, I was in a position forced to rearrange my plans. The CSR I spoke to the morning after gave me a credit for the extra ticket and a $5.00 credit on my account for future parking. Problem solved. I love this app and Park Whiz. Well done. Using Note 8 android.
3 ★Easy enough to find spaces in Toronto and easy to set up payment, however 2 out of 2 times I used this app I experiences hassle at the parking lot. First spot flat out said they were not going to accept it. They eventually did after some negotiation. Second spot using the QR code scan failed. Scan came up with payment error and again had to deal with parking office. Hopefully it works better in the future. I don't really recommend for Tornoto.
3 ★It's OK, but previous version was better in terms of having more information like each individual day's hourly and maximum rate. 2019-10-12: Used the app to find a place that says $12 here. Went there and the place has a sign that's asking for $15. Another location shows only one parking lot, but I know there are more nearby that are not listed here. It's a good app to get some suggestions, but it really needs to be updated in terms of available places and price. Why were photos removed?
1 ★I was mislead by this app to pay full price when it showed a discounted rate. After confirming and paying I was charged $20 over the rate that was advertised on the app. After a few emails back in forth they offered me a $5 credit next time I use the app. I drive and park regularly in NYC. There are a few more apps just as comparable. I do not suggest this app as they obviously have problems to fix and will not do the right thing to fix said mistakes. Beyond disappointed.
2 ★Before the online reservations & Parkwhiz took over this was a life saver. You could enter in the address of the place you were going to & it would give you what youd pay at the lot. Nice & easy. Now if the lot has a contract with ParkWhiz you'll get that price in blue & you can reserve a spot but if there isn't a contract the lot will come up as grey. Sounds great in theory but the ParkWhiz price isn't always the cheapest option. One lot I park in this app is $10 higher. Not useless but close.
