Teslapedia es una aplicación que complementa a la publicación "Teslapedia. Vida e inventos de Nikola Tesla", editada por Turner y vinculada a la exposición "Nikola Tesla: suyo es el futuro", que podrá visitarse del 13 de noviembre de 2014 al 15 de febrero de 2015 en El Espacio, Fundación Telefónica (Madrid).El serbo-americano Nikola Tesla (Smiljan, 1856-Nueva York, 1943) es una figura fundamental de la historia del progreso. Podemos afirmar que sus descubrimientos, inventos, aportaciones y vaticinios permitieron el desarrollo de la civilización eléctrica en la que todavía vivimos. Tesla concibió la corriente alterna y la radio, también fue pionero en tecnologías visionarias para su época como la robótica, los aviones de despegue vertical, las armas teledirigidas, las lámparas de bajo consumo, las energías alternativas o la transmisión inalámbrica de electricidad… Y sin embargo, tras caer en desgracia en los albores del siglo XX, murió y residió en el olvido hasta los albores de nuestro siglo XXI.
Navegando por el menú y a través de la cámara del dispositivo, mediante realidad aumentada, el usuario podrá disfrutar de contenidos adicionales como cuadernos interactivos, vídeos y animaciones en 3D.
