• Set limits on your child’s internet access
Help your kids balance time spent online by scheduling screen time limits for their device usage.‡ This can helps you focus your child on schoolwork and avoid online distractions while remote learning or at bedtime.‡

Use geo-location features in the app to track your child’s location. Receive alerts if you’re your child arrives in or goes beyond areas of interest established by you. (4)

Here are some of the Norton Family features parents can use to help protect their child’s online activities.

See a list of the YouTube videos your kids watch on their PCs or mobile devices and even view a snippet of each video, so you know when you need to talk. (3)

• Mobile App Supervision
See which apps your kids have downloaded on their Android devices. Choose which ones they can use. (5)

‡ Norton Family and Norton Parental Control can only be installed and used on a child’s Windows PC, iOS and Android devices but not all features are available on all platforms. Parents can monitor and manage their child’s activities from any device – Windows PC (excluding Windows 10 in S mode), iOS and Android – via our mobile apps, or by signing into their account at my.Norton.com and selecting Parental Control via any browser.

‡‡ Requires your device to have an Internet/data plan and be turned on.

1. Parents can sign in to my.Norton.com or family.Norton.com and select Parental Control to view their child’s activity and manage settings from any supported browser on any device.

2. Location Supervision features are NOT available in all countries. Visit Norton.com for details. To work, the child’s device must have Norton Family installed and be turned on.

3. Video Supervision monitors videos that your kids view on YouTube.com. It does not monitor or track YouTube videos that have been embedded in other websites or blogs.

4. Location Supervision requires activation before use.

5. Mobile app must be downloaded separately.

6. Norton Family uses AccessibilityService API to collect data about websites viewed through browsers on your child's device. It is also used to prevent the child from removing permissions without a parent’s authentication.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Works well, especially on Android devices. The Apple version has some pretty big bugs still. Every time I lock my daughter's iPhone all of her widgets disappear from her home screen. Once the phone is unlocked, they don't come back. She has to manually reset all of them. The parental controls otherwise work well though. It would be nice if that bug was fixed. I'm not a softie generally, but I do feel bad when I forget and use that lock feature and erase everything on her. Seems excessive.
1 ★Basically abandonware as only "minor bugs" are ever fixed. Use the website, which is not much better. Just a poor product offering overall. Nothing done to address: false system time change alerts; lack of SMS tracking; lack of fingerprint login; alerts are NOT synced with website; saving is slow; no 2-way sync between website and app; generally unintuitive. Complete waste of money and time. Find another option. (Nothing ever came from the offer to discuss issues from August 2019.)
2 ★Not brilliant, location tracker doesn't update quick enough and my teenage son can delete the app on his phone with no trouble! Will have to look elsewhere for something, disappointing.
1 ★An awful app. Web blocking can be bypassed by Google search and link press. So useless. On Microsoft Edge does not work at all. Web activity monitoring does not work. Changing permissions sometimes has no effect or takes hours to reflect. Bad user interface. Really a mess. It'll confuse the hell out of you. Be careful if trial expires you won't be able to uninstall from child device easily without major hassle!!!!
1 ★Just to discourage anyone else from paying for this dogshit, I'm going to explain to you how easily bypassable it is.the web monitoring only monitors what your child searches in the app's built-in browser. If you use any other browser, including the one built in on the phone, there is nothing norton can do about it. As for anything else the app claims to do ie. track location, all your child has to do is disable location on their phone or disable location permissions for the app WASTE OF MONEY!
1 ★I was shocked to see my son defeat this app by storing his games and apps in pop-up mode and then accessing them from pop-up mode once the parent controls activated. This is very dissapointing considering what this service cost.
1 ★This app is really worthless ..have such a trouble getting an otp for basic login ..surprised that thse apps even make it to the market..the customer service is even better..no response after follow ups as well.
4 ★Great app on android and most PC based machines, could be way better on iPhone. But for some reason the sync between allowed hours to use a device and allowed time hasn't been right for the past few weeks. I set daughter's allowed hours to 7am-8pm and daily max allowed time to 13 hours and by 4pm it says that her daily allowed usage is up. Why? It's a Win 10 pc.
4 ★I like this app overall but it would be helpful if I could set a time for this app to be on. I will turn off supervision at night, once all work has been done, but forget to turn it back on in the morning. It seems like an easy fix to add and automatic turn on function to the app. Otherwise, it does the job.
2 ★My phone has a lot of features that this app causes to not work. When I am in an app on my phone and then press the power button, when I reopen my phone I have to find the app I was in in my recent apps. Normally when I do this the app shows up instantly. My phone has a feature if you double press the power button, it opens the camera. This feature doesn't work, I think it is related to the other issue. After each update of this app, these features work until I restart my phone. Then they don't.
4 ★Overall very good, and I love the tracking for kids time/usage. I wish there was an option to allow specific apps to be used on the kids phone after the designated time... or allow specific apps to be used to contact specific people (like parents or other Emergency Contacts) after the curfew.
1 ★Sucks!!!!!!Please either default school time to 8 hours not 1 hr or allow a flexibility to set by day so that I don't have to enable it everyday. So inconvenient! Notifications don't show up on app and are hard to respond. This is a hit and miss. My kid sends the request to unblock but I sometimes don't receive it. Headache!
