Description
The new myPhonak comes with improved functionality and a new design to make your hearing experience as seamless and as tailored to your needs as possible. myPhonak provides you access to enhanced hearing controls and personalization options for your Phonak hearing aid(s) in addition to tracking your health data*.The Remote Control enables you to easily make changes to your hearing aid(s) to suit your personal preferences for various listening situations. You can easily adjust the volume and various hearing aid features (e.g., noise reduction and microphone directionality) or select pre-defined programs according to the different listening situation you are in. Additionally, you can make quick adjustments to the pitch of the sound in the equalizer by using the presets (default, comfort, clarity, softer, etc.) or more personalized adjustments using the sliders (bass, middle, treble).
The Remote Support allows you to meet with your hearing care professional through a live video call and have your hearing aids adjusted remotely. (by appointment)
Numerous functions are available within the Health section such as Steps* and Wearing time*, including Optional goal setting*, Activity levels*, Heart rate tracking**, Distance walked and ran***.

How to install myPhonak APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★I give up! It's obvious that the app doesn't work with newer 10+ Android OS. I've tried everything using my newer phone to no avail. Even tried all the steps multiple times outlined by the Phonak rep posted here . I then dug out my old Android 7.1 OS phone and the app worked! I use that phone ONLY for SatNav so it's almost never on or even carried for that matter. I need control over my hearing aides and need them to be accessed for control on my newer phone. For that failure I STILL give only 1 star review.
1 ★This app isn't fit for public release. Each time you use it it tries to connect to your aids, and 9 times out of 10 it fails. Even when it does connect, it rarely maintains the connection long enough to do anything. Truly dreadful, and not at all useable as a remote. It means that many of the supposed advanced features of the aids are unavailable. Phonak's response of deleting connections, reinstalling and starting from scratch has to be repeated on a daily basis. Not a solution in any way.
1 ★This app had great function control. Ability to change focus of microphones, volume as well as ability to change frequency ranges (low, medium and high). However these are all useless. When you exit the program it goes back to the Auto Detect mode. Got these from the VA and I'm still in trial period. I think I wi return them for another brand.
5 ★EDIT -Thank you!! Your solution worked perfectly. Can't believe how quickly you responded. App is working great once again. With 2 sets of Phonak hearing aids, I am completely comfortable pairing and unpairing whichever aids and/or additional device I am using and adjusting for various activities and environments. The aids are connecting very quickly to the app. App is no longer crashing.
1 ★The app is nice. It has only recently started quitting before it opens over and over again and doesn't very often give the option to send feedback. The only way to open it I've found so far is doing a force stop and then starting. That's a lot of unnecessary work just to open the app. Samsung Galaxy S10+, app is up to date.
4 ★The app is great but it takes way too long to connect to the hearing aids. I don't know why they can't make it maintain a constant connection. More often than not by the time it connects you don't need to change the settings anymore, which makes the entire process seem moot all because it has to make a new connection every time you open the app. Just to clarify, they connect fine, but it takes way longer than it should and it has to do this every time you open the app.
1 ★Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G I had issues with the app turning off all the time I went out of it. The following allowed use of App: ake the following path:Settings>Sounds>System Sound/Vibration Control and turn off all system sounds, this should take care of your issue. The only problem using some Apps ( they are numerous) shuts off the custom program & returns to AutoSense OS 4.0. There needs to be a update that's allows this App to work without shutting off half the phone apps.
1 ★Worked fine till last update. No longer have slide fader control between HA mic and Bluetooth streaming. My most used feature so sort it out please. UPDATE It is now 4 months and still the feature is missing even though I was told the feature would be present again after an update. Guess what the Feb 21 update has not sorted the issue out. Thinking I made a mistake buying a new Paradise P90 2 months ago.... a lot of money for an aid that lacks advertised feature
1 ★4-3-21 Returning these. I have Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, AND ZFold2 5G both with latest software. Rarely connect. Frustrating! For the price of these hearing aids the app SHOULD be top quality!! BUT IT'S NOT!! It does not retain any custom settings or profiles! Has trouble syncing with the hearing aids! My provider says that THEY say an update is coming in April... We will see. Right now the only reason I chose this brand is because my provider has my complete trust and confidence!
3 ★Really not customizable enough. It should default to your last setting (music, for example) after a call; but it goes back to the baseline setting, requiring you to launch the app again (which is very slow) and reset it to your preferred setting. By default, anything on your phone that makes a sound will send you through this annoying process.
1 ★Disgrace! App does not work 99% of the time. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, paired etc. countless times. Usually it never connects. Sometimes it finds one aid, usually neither. Even when it finds an aid it's temporary. I regret not returning the product during the trial period. TRUST the majority 1 star ratings. BEYOND DISGUSTED! Should never have been released.
3 ★Although it's nice to have this app which gives you more control over your aids I was told things like the battery monitor are not accurate so what's the point. I left my hearing aids plugged in over a 36 hour period the battery lost 7% of its charge according to the app. My service provider says that's not the case. The phonak manual says that doesn't happen.
