A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Awful. My employer just switched from Cigna, and comparatively, this app is worse than useless. I've had to create a new password twice now. Immediately after creating the new password I can get in. But then the app locks up, I have to reopen, and it won't log me in. I'm done. I'm sure there was nothing wrong with my first password either, this app just doesn't work on any level. This last time before it locked up in me I tried to find a provider. Very clunky UI, didn't give me a complete list.
1 ★This app routinely either crashes or glitches out to the point it is USELESS. Took me 2 authentications and three tries just to pay my bill!! Can't split a payment between 2 cards in the app, have to call in for that. Tried to use the chat feature one day and it wouldn't scroll all the way down, the stupid floating "assistant" bubble kept getting in the way, and it would just time out or irritate me to the point I gave up!
1 ★Not very impressed with the app. Before the last three updates, the app was sluggish and tended to crash on my phone. The last three updates will load the app, but as soon as I try logging in, I get a message that my phone's version of Android is not supported. According to the data on the Play Store page, the app should run on Android 6.0.0 and up, and my phone is using Android 8.0. So, either the data on the Play Store page is out of date, or something in the update is borked.
1 ★The registration process is painfully user unfriendly. The calendar input's means of changing the year is as unintuitive as it gets. The text box explaining the password requirements scrolls to the top of the page where you can't read it and leaving the password field makes the box go away. Finally, when I accidentally hit the back button on the third screen it took me back to the original splash page and lost all of the information I had entered on the first two registration pages.
1 ★App/login process works fine. No problems. One MAJOR issue: TEXT-ONLY virtual visits. Can't find them. Anthem website/app ads show text($19) and video($59) visit options. UPDATE: I needed a prescription so I sucked it up and did the phone call. Got what I needed. Immediately after the call ended the page in the app changed and it gave me the option to complete a text-only visit ($0-19). So frustrating! This service works, but I resent the fact that it forces you to make a phone/video call first.
2 ★Most features work albeit very slowly (practically dial up speeds). However one feature that seems to be totally broken is the fingerprint login. I had it enabled for months and it worked just fine. Then after an update it was turned off and since then any attempt to turn it back on in the profile page crashes the app. If the feature has been discontinued it should be removed not advised and but nonfunctional otherwise the bug should be corrected in a timely manner.
1 ★This app has so much potential to facilitate navigating health insurance. Unfortunately, it's useless. It is so glitchy and slow. It freezes up literally every time I use it and I have the latest update of the app, the latest Android OS and a Samsung Galaxy S10 that's brand new. I don't have apps bloating my phone's processor so it can only be this app judging from others comments. I sincerely hope they really are working out all the kinks because no app needs fine-tuning quite like this one.
1 ★The app is not wanting work. The fingerprint option no longer works. I try to sign in with my user name and password, it circles around and acts like I'm signing it, but it goes right back to the sign in screen. I really have not cared for this app. The Anthem app was much better. The sign in issues are just with the app, not having any issues with the website.
1 ★Terrible. This app sucks. Anytime I try to use it, it takes forever to load basically nothing! It eventually crashes around 7-10 minutes of using it. It also keeps saying I need to pick my plan even though I'm signed in and already did that when I got the app!!! PLEASE fix the app! We're paying too much for the insurance for this app not to work correctly, quickly, and easily!!
1 ★I find this app to be a massive step backwards from the old anthem app. It's probably great if you're geriatric and new to a smartphone but for anyone under the age of 85 it's borderline unusable. Thankfully the old app is still active because it's really simple and easy to find and fax my insurance card. With this "assistant" it becomes an ordeal. So much so that I had to redownload the old app just to do that. Who buries the insurance card under several menus and then several more to send it
4 ★Update: I was able to get help via email due to this review. --- It's very slow. Also, the health rewards section of the app doesn't always credit you for points/dollars you've earned. And you have to call customer support to resolve that: there is no accessibility-friendly text-only alternative (if you send a message through the message center, they reply that they can't help and you have to call them). A health insurance app and company should be very aware of accommodations.
1 ★Worst app on my phone. Always tells me password is wrong or account is locked. Try to reset it and that doesn't even work. Haven't been able to turn on fingerprint authentication for months because when it does actually allow me to sign in, it kicks me out as soon as I try to turn it on! With the amount of money they charge people for insurance you'd think they'd be able to afford a decent app 😒
