Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★App won't allow to set as passenger for drives, tracking is poor and inaccurate start / stop points
3 ★It took much longer than 30 days to show me what the 30 days estimate was hanging. I had to contact support for sollution. However there's an issue that should be addressed. The dicount ia calculated each 30 days period, but your driving status is for each month, and it only shows 6 months. It means, if you start on the second half of a month, you will be left "blind" of status on the last month 1st half. You should either score monthly or on the 30 days period, along with your driving scores.
1 ★Big Brother is here. The braking notifications are way too sensitive. This app is going to encourage bad driving habits, like running red lights to avoid stopping to fast. Also if you drive like the app expects you are going to cause other people to have road rage. And no I'm not and aggressive/bad driver. never had a speeding ticket or accident in 30+ years of driving. Want to making driving safer? get people off their phones
4 ★Over all the experience was good but I do find if your in a traffic circle or going around any tight corner you get a heavy braking penalty but again overall it's an ok app
1 ★Garbage app. Doesn't even deserve one star. Drains almost 50% of the battery daily. Also uses over 100Mb of data every day. I just switched to All-State and this is making me regret my decision. The units that plug directly into ODB are much more accurate. And the customer service is just as lousy. I called and left a voice mail. Got a reply email back a day later saying it looks like my problems are fixed. They weren't.
1 ★This app absolutely does not work. I am tempted to think this is a scam and a waste of time. 1. The app reports harsh braking even when there has been no braking. Funnily, I had to slam by brakes today to avoid a car that rushed into my lane and the app recorded NOTHING!! 2. Every time there was an update to the app, my discount fell. It started with 17, went to 18, fell to 17 again and recently down to 13 with no speeding, braking or any incident reported! 3. Customer service sucks.
1 ★I have had this app for the past 80 days. Still it says my savings estimate is in evaluation. I contacted customer support in December to report the issue and there is no response yet. I contacted the insurance agent to explain what is going on. He asked me to wait for few days to investigate. After a week he called me back and requested me to update to the latest version, which I did, without any changes on the status. The app drains 15% of my battery and has used 3.26 Gb of data.
1 ★I am not sure how they define breaking. One can have the smoothest ride yet at the end you may get a couole of breaking flags. Affects battery life. Personally I use TTC Mon-Fri and I need to either turn off or flag it as I am not the driver. The later one is not good, as while exchnging subway to bus it counts as new route and Lord have mercy the way TTC buses ride. To clear yourself, you need to state "not mine". Bottom line lots of maintenance. Better a hardware installed to the car.
1 ★This is an unreliable, erroneous, unpredictable and useless app. I installed it only because Allstate gives discount for using it. It recorded part of a trip or did not record at all. It combined many consequent trips with stops in between as one trip, or some arbitrary trips. I cannot understand how Allstate could force customers to use this junk.
5 ★It was good. Tried installing the app on my husband's phone but it kept saying it was unavailable. Not an easy app to deal with
4 ★I gave one star to this app for draining battery too much, but you can turn off GPS by turning tracking off. So I changed my rating. I don't have complaint on harsh braking but I DID notice it can make a false harsh brake after you make a circle on your track in short time, for example when I use a spiral bridge ramp. One more thing, the instructions should tell users this app isn't linked to their insurance account. Maybe I am silly but I did call my insurance agent to ask how to make link.
3 ★I think this app is a little to delicate (18 hard brakes later and only 5 being true due to dodging other vehicles, and some appeared later,, I check weekly). It shows me up on silver hills on April 12th and I was not up there and there was no hard braking.., plus the "not mine" options are limited and should include "child playing with phone". I have a hard brake after my child dropped my phone. 🤨.. Guess I need my dash cam to keep better track. I follow to far behind to have 18 brakes..
