5 ★Fantastic Service every time! Long may it last.

1 ★Main feature does not work. BAD: not possible to buy a ticket or season ticket. Not possible to load a ticket or season ticket to your smart card. The app and your "smart" card is not smart enough to send you a reminder when your season ticket is about to expire. Because of the problems mentioned earlier, the result is you being stranded in the morning rush hour without being able to renew your travelcard, you are forced to use your contactless cards and end up spending more. GOOD: train times.
1 ★SWR is a simple game where you are asked a sequence of multiple choice questions and have to guess which combinations of answers unlock an actual ticket purchase. Amazingly, even after many hours of playing, I still lose more often than I win. Free to play, but contains in app purchases, though unusually for this game genre you can only buy after you win. Probably enjoyable for the masochist, but for most people I'd recommend Ticket Office instead (though that is not available on Android).
1 ★Too many stupid issues when trying to buy tickets. Main ones: not being able to buy tickets for multiple journeys in one transaction, not remembering bank card details, session times out if you try to buy tickets for another journey straight after last purchase (you don't find out it has timed out until you have gone through most of the process).
4 ★It is better than before, but I think there is room for improvement in terms of practicality. I also find that the timetable sign system in Waterloo is disconnected from physical platforms. There is no reference point for train stations, alphabetical, destination etc. For instance a train to Sttrawberry Hill can depart from platform 4 or 21. Thanks
2 ★The in app ticket purchase often (about 50% of the time) fails at the point of payment and gives an error message. I then end having to use the slower machines when I get to the station. The reasons I want to buy tickets in the app are 1. so that I can collect nectar points and 2. It is quicker to collect tickets when pre-purchased
1 ★New version is awful. I can't select payment option - it no longer exists. I've raised this twice with support but no response
1 ★The app simply doesn't work. My tickets do not appear on the app, so when I need to show them, I have to download the PDF from my email and use that instead. That basically renders this app useless. It was a complete waste of time downloading this and trying to get it to work. No point making an app look nice and sleek if it doesn't actually function.
1 ★Finally! Solution to "how do you get tickets for trains from Clapham junction without going all the way out of the station and praying your ticket machine's screen is calibrated properly!" Is what I want to be writing. This morning's return sprint out of the station to board a train on the next platform prevents me. Thanks to SWR for delaying the train, thus giving me ample time to execute this unnecessarily elongated transaction.
2 ★Tickets keep disappearing after I buy them. Some train guards will charge you a penalty fair despite showing the confirmation email you get. This is the second time its happened. Also the app mostly fails in showing cancellations and delays that the national rail app shows. So i'd always double check with national rail anyway. It also doesn't let you buy the correct ticket if the train leaves late, which also mean angry guards The only good thing is the mobile tickets- that is, if they load.
3 ★If this app worked properly I'd give it 5 stars. Right now PayPal payments don't work and it doesn't remember card details even if you select the option. My tickets were not delivered on one occasion. I always buy the same journey & it's painful to always have to repeat the same data entry - but I'd live with it if all the other glitches were fixed.
