2 ★Notification system is broken: only supports some kinds of activation s and actually inhibits those it does not support. Microsoft Outlook, for example: with notification access enabled, Outlook notifications are not sent to the band *and* suppressed on the phone. Also - you do *not* need access to phone records, contacts, or SMS. The app's basic tracking functions work just fine without them. This is not a "social" app.
1 ★As many have pointed out, the app loses all previously saved data after each update. It asks you to relogin and makes you add the same data over and over again. Not only is this tedious, it beats the whole point of the app. How can we keep track of our progress if the app, apparently built for that purpose, doesn't do so? A big fail for me. Unless there is a proper solution for this, the app will remain useless.
2 ★Worst app. I have bad experience with it. Points are as below - 1) When I sleep during night, if I wake up for few mins and sleep again then sleep is not tracked. Other bands do track sleep even after wake up for an hour. 2) Only running activity is tracked. Walking, cycling are not tracked. 3) If I go away from phone, then band gets disconnected. But it doesn't reconnect automatically. I have to do it manually. 4) During reconnection of band, if GPS is disabled then I have to enable it. Even to sync steps from band to app, I have to enable GPS. Why? Can't I walk around without GPS? This doesn't happen with other bands. 5) I tracked walking with it under running option cause walking option is not available. GPS was enabled to map my walk. I could see map but it was not tracked properly. I walked for around 600-700 mtrs and it shown 2.5 kms? How? It looks like maps does not work as required. It needs a fix. 6) "Lenovo Life is running in the background" was popping up continuously. Mobile vibrated for every 2 seconds. I had to disable it along with ringtone. It's annoying. 7) App is not user friendly. It looks confusing while setting up goals and tracking things. It needs to be fixed. 8) App is heavy. It has to be lightweight.
1 ★Having problems connecting to my HX06 smart band. Sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't. Many a times i had to uninstall and reinstall this app. Tried all suggestions in the app itself. Not at all helpful. The device HX06 is visible in my Bluetooth devices but still can't connect with my app. Please do look into the matter. Thank you.
2 ★Issue with the app regarding Notification Display and 'weather notification' for hx06. weather is always stuck on 'sunny' with no temperature readings no matter how many times you synchronize the data. when you recieve a notification, there are no spaces in the message, or even caller ID name. thirdly, 'Install Lenovo Life Mobile Services' in the settings of Lenovo Life is bugging me the hell out.
2 ★Thankfully i am able to pair it with my smartband HW02. But the distance tracking is way off compared to other health tracking. Not to mention the app not always syncing with the band all the time, causing we'll miss few message notifications. And the sleep tracking also not accurate at all. And the ultimate irritating thing is: there are no other third party apps for the replacement. Yeah, like lenovo really think this apps is top notch apps. :(
1 ★Avoid the latest update if you can! My phone downloaded the update, and the whole app went haywire. All the previous records went berserk and now the steps history shows that for example on 10 July I walked 268534 steps in 2238 minutes (when there is 1440 minutes in a day). Also weight records were lost with the update. And now I have all those crazy figures there in my steps history!
2 ★Band is HW01 plus with pai version. Today I updated this app. Some good and some bad things. Good first. 1) connection between app and band improves, now it sets ap easily. 2) battery percentage is visible now, very helpful. Bad 1) distance calculations with the help of map and gps was pretty accurate before updating. Now it is biggest blunder. After today's walk, I was shocked to see 9 km in merely 45 minutes. So with other app I checked for short distance. When other app shows 400 meter , this app shows 952 meter. Pls look into and fix this bug immediately. 2) while excersising, and in continuous heart rate checking mode and tracking your activity by train mode, if voice call is connected in between, app shuts down, and even if you reopen after finishing call, app has lost his memory of current excersise and started to count from zero. In old app, I never faces this issue till date. Please sort this issue immediately. 3) after updating app old data and readings are lost 😞☹️ Why this kolaveri d? Updated again but still issue with 1) distance calculation is still wrong, even if I sit on chair it runs like meter of auto rikshaw 😞 2) while excersizing if call connected app forgot first half excersize. No answer from developers, raised issue, sent feedback but no response. Hence reduced 1 star. Rating.
1 ★I've Lenovo HW01 SMART BAND and after updating the application my smart band light become dim. Light is too dim that can't even see naked eyes. But through app it synchronised very well..
1 ★If I don't constantly manually open the app and force sync the data with the smart band, it resets my day's progress to zero by the time I'm home from work. If I don't open the app first thing in the morning and manually force sync it, it doesn't show any sleep data. Doesn't send sleep or HR data to Google Fit consistently. This app is more moody than my dog. The difference is that I love my dog and would bear his antics, but I don't need the stress of having to open the app every half an hour.
1 ★This application Lenovo Life is not compatible with all the phones, I connected Lenovo watch with OPPO, VIVO, REDMI. It failed to connect with MOTOROLA, NOKIA, GOOGLE PIXEL. so it's not getting connected with true Android phones which has AndroidOne on it but able to connect with Custom Android phones. one reason could be Lenovo Life application steals your files and share it with Lenovo and this is not allowed on AndroidOne.
4 ★The app is pretty good. The interface is intuitive as well. But there are two problems I've noticed: 1)It doesn't show the caller's name anymore,which it previously used to. Just showing the number. 2)It doesn't show the battery percentage of my band anymore. Kindly provide fix please .
