■ Improved the Map app to enable users to use it while connecting to Android AutoHow to install NAVER Map, Navigation APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download NAVER Map, Navigation APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

Q: What is an APK File?

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

4 ★Hard to use in the beginning because the address you put in from Google maps does not give you any results on Naver. Also the navigation is in Korean sometimes (even when language setting is English) but after awhile, you get to understand it and then it gets better. I suggest tourists to play around with this a bit at home before you get to Seoul so you don't waste time trying to understand it when you are actually in Seoul.
3 ★Extremely lacking when compared to the stock functionality of Google maps. Thanks to outdated law, naver maps is one of only a few companies with high quality maping of South Korea, while Google is left with low quality mapping. Unfortunately naver maps doesnt come even close to providing the same features as Google - no offline mapping, no explore feature, custom maps etc. It's unlikely that this gap will ever be closed, though there are a few unique features such as traffic cams which work well
4 ★The navigation part of the app' is 100% foreigner friendly. Thank you Naver. (Now you need to turn Naver system - especially the booking and food ordering system in English and it will rock!) /!\HOWEVER /!\ @developpers Over the latest versions, there's a bug in guidance, or at least a lack of compatibility with Spotify. Indeed, if Spotify is running when you start navigation, the guidance voice will not work. --> we need to force closing if the two APK before restarting first navermap.
4 ★Used it when visiting Korea - loved the favourite feature and organizing the pins in folders so it was easy to plan all the places I wanted to go prior to visiting the country. It can get tricky with addresses but I found more success typing names without the spaces (like SeoulStation and COEXAquarium). I wish there was an "Arrive by" option because everything searched was for *right now* even when searching at 3 AM in the morning. Couldn't search things nearby like Lotte Dept Store though.
5 ★I'm a fan of the new transit feature. Good job Naver team! Keep up the good work!
3 ★It is a good app calculate well the time the only limitation is that if I go to another app I loose the itinerary that I just selected. If the wifi or 5g is cut and reconnect (wich happens a lot when you take a subway) then you loose your itinerary. Which is annoying when you are commuting and have constantly to input your destination again and again. So now I have to switch to another map this is too annoying, too bad though it is really a good app.
4 ★Most likely the only app you can use as a tourist in Korea. Almost all the user interface is in English, including navigation. It misses the metadata displayed of places, like opening times. Options to translate reviews is missing as well Searching engine is weird. You type in English, the result list displays the name in Korean and after selecting is in English again. User account is now optional but to create one you need a Korean phone number. Other numbers don't receive the confirmation SMS.
1 ★I almost die. Because they didn't show the stairs. I had a baby with carrier, buggy and a backpack. I didn't expect long stairs cause map doesn't show me. Then literally I almost passed out in middle of mountain (It's on the way to take a transfer bus.) Fortunately I am alive and write review now. But doesn't want to get this experience again. Please give us an optional button for disable or buggy friendly. Thanks.
4 ★I live for Naver. It's so precise and detailed. Since it became available in English, it's the only map I use. The only feature I'd add is a way to share the Favorites list, like if I have a list of recommendations in a certain area, I'd like to share that entire list of saved cafes, bars, etc. As it is now, you have to forward each map link separately.
3 ★I keep using the app because I used to like it and it has all the settings already, but lately the subway trains time has not been correct. And not like 2~3 minutes difference, but a whole 10~12 minutes! I hope you can fix that! Also, the things about stairs: I also wish a map shows a more stairs-free route as an option! Or at least let me know there are stairs, because there are no visible indications that I can see now.
3 ★I still love your app, but the latest update's voice instructions are just terrible. E.g. Don't use "In a minute" to indicate the next turn. Make the instructions as short as possible please. When I drive I don't want long sentences to explain to me what to do. Honestly, your previous voice commands were 100x better than now. Still a great app to use in English but PLEASE change the voice commands. Thank you so much. Naver Map Fan
5 ★Great for navigation, but please add an option to enable or disable rerouting due to traffic conditions. Sometimes I want to take a certain route to go past sone nice places, but the app always change my route, even if there is no traffic on the original route. Please add this function to your next update. The rest of the app is perfect.
