Radio Santa Rosa está ubicada en el corazón mismo de Lima, al interior del Convento Santo Domingo de Lima.En el IV Congreso Mariano , realizado en 1954 se acordó fundar la Primera Emisora Católica del Perú , que lleve el nombre de nuestra Primera Flor de Santidad : Santa Rosa . Un el 24 de Junio de 1956 -tal como lo recuerda el Padre Jorge Cuadros Pastor ex Director de la emisora-se inician las operaciones de prueba siendo el primer director el Padre Franscisco Villena Cabrera . Al cumplir el primer aniversario el 24 de Junio de 1957 sus equipos fueron bendecidos por el entonces Cardenal Juan Landazuri Rickets, el 15 de octubre de 1958 fue emitida oficialmente la Resolución Ministerial . La emisora se creó con la finalidad de transmitir el rezo del Santo Rosario y la Palabra de Dios. A través de sus ondas se inició esta ardua y comprometida misión, la cruzada se introdujo a los hogares, llegó el mensaje de la voz consoladora y esperanzadora a los hospitales, cárceles, parroquias y asentamientos humanos. Con la bendición de Dios y la protección de Rosa de Santa María, la Orden de los Dominicos del Convento Santo Domingo de Lima, inició una de sus obras de evangelización en la revaloración de la dignidad humana. La “Emisora del Rosario” , como se le conocía en sus inicios transmite desde el interior de los claustros Dominicos, Santuario de los Santos Peruanos.Latest updates
