This update is available for Samsung Mobile with Android 7.0 and above.Secure Folder leverages the defence-grade Samsung Knox security platform to create a private, encrypted space on your Samsung Galaxy phone. Apps and data moved to Secure Folder are sandboxed separately on the device and gain an additional layer of security and privacy.
Easier and more convenient
Store your private files and apps safely. It's easy to move apps and data by tapping "Move to Secure Folder" or by importing them via "Add files" from inside Secure Folder. Your personal apps and data will be separated and encrypted so that they are protected from malicious attacks.
More secure
Lock your Secure Folder with an additional PIN, pattern, password, or biometric lock, so that only you can access your private pictures, apps, and data.
Effectively manage data
Add or copy your apps and data into Secure Folder. You can use Secure Folder to store your private contacts, photos, and more in a separate account. This allows you to have two profiles on a device so you can manage your data more effectively.
※ Secure Folder will operate only on official software released by Samsung Electronics. Features or UX may vary depending on the device, OS version, etc.
※ Secure Folder is a service, based on Samsung account, that provides an independent, isolated environment within your mobile device. Applications and data moved or added to Secure Folder (e.g. photos, audio files, movie files, and documents), will not be accessible from outside Secure Folder, whether by USB or Wi-Fi Direct. If your mobile device detects any rooting or custom ROMs, Secure Folder will automatically lock-up in order to prevent unauthorised access, in which case you will no longer be able to access or use the contents within Secure Folder. Therefore, please make sure you back up any important applications or data elsewhere, such as on your personal computer, before moving them to Secure Folder. Samsung is not responsible for any data loss or inaccessibility.
Use Backup and Restore of the below path to store your customers' data more safely.

4 ★100% worked. Good app and easy to use. Reliable app from SAMSUNG. Latest updated provided in Play Store seem had problem for or/and unable provided fingerprint scanning when sometime required or asking for PIN input instead. Recently it's happened when to open Home page or to access Secure Folder too. Update to fix this such problem is needed.

1 ★When I try to set it up, it says it sends me an email which it doesn't. Then I try to reset samsung password and it automatically tries to send me another email that doesn't work. Frustrating
1 ★This program is too eager. After the most recent update to my phone the secure folder jumps out before i can unlock the screen saying do you want to get into your secure folder huh do you. I honestly was happier when it sat there and waited until I selected not great for securing files if it jumps right to the front page.
1 ★Locked out of the app. The instructions don't work. There's no reset anywhere on your Samsung account. I called customer service and after someone tried on my phone with the tutor app for a half hour they just hung up on me when they couldn't figure it out. Horrible customer service!
1 ★Horrible. Does not even deserve 1 star. I had no idea that Secure Folder was a samsung app. I have a samsung account and used samsung smart switch when I got my new Note 20 Ultra. Secure Folder was transferred, but content in folder was not. The folder was empty! No help from samsung.
4 ★I like pics and I have to hide some. But no APP is perfect. As long as it works I'm happy if it doesn't then, I found out it's me not the App. The very 1st App was (ALAN PARSONS PROJECT) 1976 The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether. So thanks for keeping my butt pics safe.👍🤘
1 ★Keeps saying unistall but doesn't work. This hidden folder was great but it suddenly crashed and says it deleted all content in that folder. If I knew this would have happened I would have never used it. Beware of using this can delete all information in it
2 ★It works fine, but there's this bug that if you're using the iris you've methods on older devices, if your phone locks while in the secure diet and when you unlock it asks you to unlock using your iris, one it unlocked the entire top third of the phone becomes blacked out and unusable
1 ★I have moved from a Samsung Galaxy S9+ to a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and the secure folder has disappeared. It says it's installed but isn't to be found anywhere. I can't transfer my secure folder from my old phone as the new folder doesn't exist, and therefore I can't trade in my old phone. I need Samsung to sort this ASAP
