Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

2 ★To begin with either the app isn't always accurate or the buses&trains aren't always on time (we could just assume it to be the latter). We deal with the "nothing is perfect" accuracy, but to then take away upcoming schedule times from the trip planner? that is literally the reason why we are all using the app. To take away partial of the app's purpose, surely would ensure the cut of it's use- which would defeat the purpose for both user AND provider. Definitely not thought all the way through.
1 ★The layout and the overall design NEEDS to change. It is VERY difficult to understand the app, and I always find myself confused as to what and where I am supposed to be pressing just to get the information I need to take the bus. And when I do finally figure out how to find my Bus's information, I still do not know where it is or how long it takes for it to reach my specific spot. I'm disappointed that the schedules were taken down from each stop, only to find out that the MyMTA App is useless.
5 ★This mymta app is one of the best navigation apps out there. Because it is very helpful to those who or either running late or is sick and tired of waiting for the bus without knowing what time specifically it is going to arrive at the bus station. If only I knew about this app before hand the amount of struggles that I once had to go through would have decreased drastically. The fact of the matter is because of this app it gives you the free will to perceive and do things beforehand. 👍🏽👍🏽
3 ★Feedback in the app is broken so I'll leave it here. Love the way the app tells you what time your Metro North train will reach the station. I loved the way the old app gave me a list of departure times for trains. This app won't do that so I can't really use it because I never know exactly what time the subway will get me to grand Central plus I like to know all my options.
1 ★The schedule never accurate. Sometimes it asks u to connect internet to show detail even though i have LTE on at all time. This app is useless , it asks you the address, we don't know all the addresses, we tried with the near stations, it showed nothing because its not intelligent like Google map. Also it only telling you the coming train so no way u can plan ahead plus the train might not be showing up i guess this app is not real time. Google map shows a lot better for the train schedule.
1 ★Beta version....more like Alpha version that needs a LOT of work....just downloaded the app and the first 2 things I tried are non fuctional...you can't search bus schedules...little alligator mascot pops-up saying Uh-oh!...and asks you to log in...crazy....just want to know a schedule. The second is when searching the escalator/elevator status for Penn Station for the LIRR the app returns there are no escalators/elevators at Penn Station.....typical MTA laziness in regression testing the app.
1 ★This app is garbage. Enter an address (like your home) it says it doesn't exist. Not intuitive at all. If you want a good transit app try CityMapper. Much better. Even tells you were to get on the train so you'll be at the right exit!
1 ★The app looks okay, but isn't very useful and not always accurate. Instead of putting the fare hikes into your paychecks, apps that are already out there/done better, and screens in stations that just remind you of the terrible service, why not try actually improving your service? Apologizing for the inconvenience doesn't justify the sad excuse that is the MTA.
1 ★This app incorrectly provides information about trains and buses when there are delays, find alternative app. You can be waiting from 30mins to an 1 hour and a half to finally arrive to your destination do to this app. Please don't make the same mistake I have. There are no trains at Main Street, Mets Willits point and other stops the app doesn't provide relevant information.
2 ★It is funny, that the official app from MTA just does not work. The concept is not bad, planned trip loading could be faster. Maps are absolutely useless!!! You cannot pinch-zoom any of them and the large-print ones after tapping on give you a blank page only! Way to go, MTA. You should give something back to commuters and provide a way better service instead of just raising prices on fares. Thank you
1 ★Looks very shiny when compared to TrainTime, the old app, but the track numbers for my use case with MNR are not updated. It'll display one track number and the schedule boards in GCT will say something different. Clearly it isn't pulling from live data, so what's the point of the app if you have to double check it?
3 ★Needs more... I use this for the AAR reservations. While it's WAY faster than calling, there's no option to add cross streets or make special notations (like specifying pickup locations at malls or colleges). So, you end up calling anyway and possibly not having whatever special instruction forwarded. I think those options are sorely needed.
