1 ★Horrible app.. Why is keeping asking for the scale and my locations? If i won't allowed it and can't use it? Also is a hit and miss connecting the blender(A3500). All I wanted just using the damn blender.
1 ★Absolute worst app. It needs to connect automatically after the first time, skip all the questions about having a scale or not. It takes so long to open and connect that I NEVER use it. It is faster to turn on the machine and adjust the intensity manually. I would love for the developers to work on it because it would be fun to use with my blender
3 ★very annoying it crashes a lot when you're trying to make adjustments of serving sizes. at least that's what I'm experiencing with my Galaxy Tablet S2. I really think that this app works better for iPad or iPhones. because when I tried it with my boyfriend's iPad Pro it didn't have as many crashes as it does with my Galaxy tablet. please Vitamix do a better job on your app system for Androids. and vitamin you don't do regular updates. you haven't done an update since March.
3 ★At least there is an app with some recipes. It's not a great. Didn't have a recipe for cheese sauce. Or at least didn't pull up when I tried searching. I thought the bluetooth was connected but when I used the scale nothing happened. Also, I have an Ascent blender, which wasn't connecting either. But it's better than no app right? I have an android by the way.
1 ★This is a great example of "you only have one job" and completely failing to do it. My phone rarely if ever acknowledges the blender is connected despite it saying so when I click on the blender icon. On top of that, unless I am missing something, for any of the recipes that aren't preset in the blender menu, you cannot load the container yourself and then upload the program to the blender, you have to use the scale they sell and go through every step. Not sure why I should pay for an additional scale that the app will not recognize half the time to get any functionality
2 ★i started with the cheaper perfect scale and it worked fine with my lg v20 and android app. but then it stopped working. my bluetooth works, the phone finds the scale but the app wont connect . and i just got the new ,nicer scale won't connect either. on my phone the bluetooth connection says its a DRINK SCALE PrO... not "vitamix or perfect "scale. has anyone else had this problem ? the phone see's the scale but the app wont connect to the scale. help please ?
1 ★Android user here. Straight out of the box with fresh new batteries I cant connect the scale via bluetooth. I have an S10 and a S8 Note, neither will connect to the scale. Not satisfied with this. I have an iPhone 6 and it connected as soon as the app opened up. I dont want to use apple products. So I give this 1 star. I have sent an email to service. I want this to work and the function of the scale is an awesome feature we wanted.
1 ★Terrible, illogical non intuitive and functional app. It's main purpose is to link to the almost $200 scale that vitamix sells. There is no V1200 support. Recipe instructions hard to find and read. They should be numbered eg. Step 1, 2 and so on. What's this "about. 4" thing? . The app is as bad as it can get for any app that doesn't crash. Don't ask us how to improve the app, we're not app designers. Hire a reputable company to analyze your app and offer solutions that the end user needs!!
1 ★This is such a good concept that when it first came out I immediately bought the Vitamix a3500 and the perfect blend scale for a total of about $700. I so want this to work and I so love the idea of connected devices. Every device in my house is connected including my ring doorbell my Hue light bulbs and my Bluetooth toothbrush and Bowflex weight system. I'm very familiar with a new product notworking well and I've given this product a year to get better. Unfortunately it still sucks to use!
3 ★Okay app. For the most part it works. The UI is not the greatest. The Carrot Ginger Tofu soup calls for 50g of ginger for a 5 serving size batch. Thats 1/2 cup. I reported the error (definitely an error not a taste preference). They admitted as much and said they would make the change but nothing has been changed. That was 23 days ago. It does make me wary to trust and try the other recipes if ingredients are on the expensive side.
4 ★Getting better. Once you get used to it and know how to change containers ( I have a Vitamix personal blender and a Vitamix 5300 which do not have wifi) it works great. The trick is to put the right container size on the scale and then you will get accurate measuring by the app. Customer service is very helpful and we'll help you figure it out.
3 ★I'm not a fan of the fact that you have to be logged in to download certain recipes. Some are available without logging in but many are not. I don't need or want to "sync my recipes across my devices", I just want to try a recipe without needing an account. The fact that you can send "blend programs" to your blender is kinda novel and cool (very "futuristic"), but it doesn't make up for the fact that the app itself is slow and buggy. It's ok, but not by any means an impressive app experience.
