1 ★Useless without overpriced subscription; next to useless *with* overpriced subscription. Doesn't even save live recordings to SD card. Claims they're saved, opens local storage, nothing there. Constantly alerts motion detected when not even a leaf is moving in view. I'm considering returning camera to Amazon for refund since it can only be viewed using this terrible, unsupported app and the subscription costs more than a Ring subscription, which is a far more useful app, as lacking as it is.
1 ★Unbelievably bad...and also ripoff! It forces me to use the cloud, even though the camera manufacturer says that the user can save all recodings to an sd card. This app won't save recordings to my sd card. In "settings", I've chosen to save recordings to sd card, but it still saves them to the cloud! Also very buggy and laggy. Playback buffers incessantly. I've wasted hours with this piece of junk!
1 ★Can't save to other locations such as my own NAS drive. Can only get any sort of effective use out these cameras and software is to use their subscription software. It appears that you have to have a separate subscription for each camera. Can't save to the SD card and retrieve it remotely, even though it says you can in the instructions. Wish I had never bought them and saved up for RING cameras to go with the door bell and the subscription that I already have with them. Only got these as there
1 ★This app is seriously a mental headache. Skips seconds of recordings. Doesn't even start recording until the image that trigger the motion detection has already passed. And why in the world is it so difficult to view things. Can't delete it from each video you can back out this is just a complete nightmare. Update my app has not worked in weeks fed up
1 ★It's not very good. Difficult to pair with Campark DB20 camera doorbell. Keeps losing connections and is slow to respond.
1 ★AVOID! This app lets down any camera set-up. Cameras are good, but app makes them useless. You MUST pay a subscription to review recordings - recordings saved on SD card constantly buffer and you cannot play them (I have super-fast broadband). You cannot even set a time to your time-zone to locate videos on a difficult to use timeline. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.
1 ★The device is great and functions well, however the app is pretty lousy. It is a door bell camera for God's sake and it should ring on my phone as call or similar. Pop up notification just doesn't do it. I missed all the rings on the bell and have not answered since it didn't make difference from a movement notification. Even if you put something loud as notification sound it just sounds once, so you might not notice. The call from the door should be part of the app and it should ring!!!
2 ★The system is behind in time. The camera time never caught up but the camera was clear, I set it for night vision and at night when I tried to open it, it wouldn't but when it finally did it no pic, but I have outside light on?? I had to reconnect multiple times and device is always sleep. I opted for the free trial and the next day the camera wouldn't wake up when I finally got it reconnected I couldn't get the trial again. It's not worth even trying to keep reconnecting it and it runs slow!
2 ★it seems that to get the most out of this APP is to purchas the monthly or yearly storage plus other features, which I did but I didnt see any change in the APP appearance or features, and it also seems that when I purchased the yearly option I noticed that Tosee plus has an automatic renewal on my PayPal. After a few months of use I have had several issues with both of my cameras, disconnecting from my and reports of trouble. There is no way to get support help from Tosee Plus. Frustrated
1 ★Brand new fully charged batteries always show low battery 20% and the same issues with recording. Doorbell and app are USELESS.
1 ★Absolute garbage. I have to completely uninstall the app & start again every time I want to use it. Contacted support who's best advice was to be patient (4 weeks ago) still no fix or dialogue from them. Waste of money. UPDATE. 4 weeks later still no connection or update from support. Can't even connect bell to app anymore. After 8 weeks my patience has ended. I will be looking for a full refund of cloud and hardware.
2 ★Functional but that's about it. You can set the timezone but you cannot allow for daylight savings. I'm constantly emptying the cache in order to get into the camera settings. It does need work but at the moment it feels like a front end for the cloud storage which is relatively inexpensive at $40 a year.
