Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★If you are having issues detecting your pebblebee with the app, after installing the app, head to your app list, in your settings of your phone, find the pebblebee app, and force stop. Then reopen the app and try to reconnect, it worked for me. The only thing I didn't like is it has its own camera feature to take photos with versus using your own camera app, wish I could use my own.
2 ★I thought P.B. was going to be a better product than Tile. Bought 3 Tiles & the batteries ran out in three months. Suppose to last 1 yr., Lost $75. Can't replace batteries. PB has same features as Tile but u can replace the batteries. Bought 2 of these. Found out the app does not work. False reading on location of my keys. Gives my last location one block away the day before. When my keys r sitting in the other room. Drove 80 mi. coming back home. Gave it a test and tells me its sitting near a freeway. The keys r with me. Misplace cell. Was not able to activate & locate cell. Found cell in the same room as my keys. I was really depending on PB since I have a lot of keys. I guess I'll be going back to Tile. Found a website on how to open them up & replacing the battery. Used this device on my LG phone.
1 ★-10 stars. The app is a waste of space. The Pebblebee team break promises. No open source, no IFTTT for the Honey, no tasker plugin, no API, no battery life, no product worth having. Pebblebee will not survive as a company outside of Kickstarter and Indigogo. Buyers beware. EDIT: Open source and IFTTT were stretch goal No4 and 5 of the Kickstarter campaign. The Tasker plugin was something Pebblebee said they would add in the campaign comments. EDIT: Review refresh with every new version of your software. This hardware and software combo is absolutely useless.
4 ★This is a review of the app, not the device itself. I have now discovered that the device is pretty good and does what it's supposed to - but sadly the app does not work on all devices. Well, it loads up *but* you may find (as I did) that connectivity to your pebblebee device(s) is(are) intermittent at best. I found that it works perfectly fine on an older Nexus 4, as well as the IOS version on an iPad air, but it refuses to connect reliably when running on my Galaxy S7. I am sure that this is a bluetooth BLE problem that frankly may be more a Google than Pebblebee issue - but the end result is you may find that the app is not going to work for you. Or it might. On my Nexus it's a strong 4 stars. On my S7 it doesn't work reliably so it's a 1. Overall, I'd give it a 2 and have my fingers crossed that the BLE issues will be resolved sometime soon so I can use it on my S7 - at which point I will happily update my score! *update* Yay. V487 update included bug fixes, one of which appears to have done the trick with my S7. Very happy now! Thanks guys.
1 ★Well it does need lots of work on it without a doubt it tells me my dog is a street away when he is in my lap and sometimes does not work when my dog is in the same house as me I would prefer buying a new device that will work better
2 ★Takes forever to connect. Put it on my dog's collar to keep track of him. He's like 6ft from me and it has been "connecting" for minutes. It should be instantaneous. The 150ft range is too short and I wish it has been listed on the package. I need an actual GPS tracker. For half off I can't complain too much though
3 ★Please make the app auto start when the phone is rebooted. Until then you only get 3 stars.
1 ★I bought 10 of these. What's the point if the app shuts down in the background.
1 ★Every time need to re-keyin the password
3 ★بدک نبود
2 ★Does not work to good, will be returning
1 ★Update after update clicking find on the app will not trigger your finder. I want to know what bugs are fixed as the latest version of the app still doesn't trigger the finder with any degree of reliability. This piece of software never worked since day 1. Buggy as heck. Won't stay loaded throughout the day. Crowd gps can't work if the app doesn't stay loaded. Good luck trying to find your phone using the finder or stone button. It won't work as this application won't stay loaded on the phone.
