Elikötüoğlu Ailesi; Türkiye geneline yayılmış Karakeçili Yörük Türkmen asıllı geniş bir ailedir. Miladi 1520 yılı kayıtlarında "Elikötülü Kışlağı" olarak Sivas'ta kayıtlara geçen ailenin esas menşei Anamas dağı yaylasıdır.İslam öncesi eski Türk Şaman inançlarını da İslam Ritüelleriyle süsleyen geleneklerden en önemli olan "Kansız Kurban Geleneğini" Türkiye'de yaşatan aile olarak makalelere konu olmuş ve haklarında bilimsel çalışma yayınlanmıştır. 1725 yılında Serik kışlağından Anadolu'ya zorunlu göçe tabi tutulmuşlardır. Günümüzde Sivas, Ordu, Tokat, Isparta, Burdur, Ankara, Yozgat ve Gaziantep'te kolları bulunmaktadır.
