Der Landesverband Tirol ist Mitglied des Österreichischen Roten Kreuzes und vereinigt als Dachverband alle 11, im Bundesland Tirol mit eigener Rechtspersönlichkeit ausgestatteten, Bezirksstellen. Diesen gehören wiederum 45 Tiroler Rotkreuz-Ortsstellen an.
Das gesamte Österreichische Rote Kreuz arbeitet gemeinnützig und ist nicht auf Gewinn gerichtet.
