Description
La Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles, (URE) fue fundada el 1 de abril de 1.949 con el objetivo de defender los derechos de los radioaficionados y prestar todo tipo de servicios relacionados con la radiodifusión. Actualmente cuenta con más de 8.000 socios de toda España, repartidos entre las, aproximadamente, 200 delegaciones que la URE tiene repartidas por todo el país.Esta asociación se conforma como sociedad cultural, no lucrativa, y persigue los siguientes fines:
- Fomentar la radioafición como servicio de instrucción individual de intercomunicación o estudios técnicos entre personas interesadas en la radiotecnia, con carácter exclusivamente personal y sin fines de lucro.
- Cumplir y estimular el cumplimiento de la normativa vigente que señalan el Reglamento de Radiocomunicaciones en general y el Reglamento de Estaciones de Aficionados en particular.
- Colaborar, dentro de las posibilidades de la Asociación, con las autoridades en materia que se refiera a los radioaficionados.
- Fomentar la unión y camaradería entre los radioaficionados, para facilitar su mutuo conocimiento y estima.
- Estimular la investigación radioeléctrica, electrónica y de radiocomunicación en general.
- Representar a sus socios, y a los radioaficionados en general que lo deseen, ante la Administración del Estado y ante cualquier otra entidad pública o privada, velando por sus intereses.
- Representar a la radioafición española ante las entidades extranjeras de análogos fines, especialmente ante la International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) y viceversa.
- Prestar a sus asociados diversos servicios relacionados con la práctica de la radioafición.
- Colaborar de forma altruista y solidaria en la realización de proyectos relacionados con las radiocomunicaciones en favor de países en vías de desarrollo
