Take a picture of the pothole and post it on Pothole Fix.Users will be able to take the photo of a pothole in their locality and the app will automatically send the same to the civic agency – BBMP for faster resolution.
The app works on the simple formula of Spot-Snap-Send. The location of the pothole will be captured automatically by the GPS in the phone and the user will also be allowed to give the landmark of the location of the pothole for easy recognition and resolution. Users can ask their friends, neighbours and those affected by the pothole to vote up, comment and form a group to work with civic agencies to help resolve the issue. The citizen can also see the status of the work, whether the work has been approved, and the date and time when the pothole is being filled.
