AutoVera is a Tasker plugin that allows you to fully control your home in a very easy, yet powerful way.
It allows you to make your home react to anything that happens on your Android device, like opening your blinds in the morning when your alarm goes off, and to anything that your android device can detect, like if you flip your phone, you can flip out a light.
It also allows you to react to anything that happens in your home in real time. For example, you can sound an alarm on your phone when a motion detector is tripped.
You can even get the status or any other relevant information on your home automation devices and use it wherever and however you like. You can show the status of your devices on your Pebble (with AutoPebble) or on your TV for example (with AutoCast)
DEVICE CONTROL
With AutoVera you can control any Z-Wave devices through a Vera Gateway. With the Power of Tasker you can totally personalize how you do this, and really make home automation your own personal experience.
You could turn on lights by wistling for example.
Or setup a delayed light that turns off 5 minutes after you press a button so that you can go to bed with the lights still on.
You can even control almost any plugin that is installed on your Vera, right out of the box.

STATUS UPDATES
By installing the AutoVera plugin on your Vera, you can receive updates on your phone whenever something happens in your home.

5 ★At first I had issues connecting to my UI7 VeraLite remotely. After a few emails back and forth with the developer, the app was updated and is now working great. If you have any issues just email the developer. He was quick to get back to me about how to send logs of the problem and quick to get a fix created.
2 ★Unfortunately the Vera plugin is not compatible with UI7. On the Vera site, the generated Autovera device shows a blank page with no settings or listed phones. Also, the android app sees my Vera after specifying login details but does not populate either scenes or devices after refreshing. I've turned off local network access for security and can only access my Vera through the website. Maybe this causes some of the issues. Bummer..
5 ★Countless applications for home automation. Integration with Autovoice and AutoWear allow you to open the garage door by speaking to your watch... for example.
5 ★It works as expected with UI7 and a Veralite. If you have trouble setting it up, try the developer's Google+ forum. He responded very quickly to my question.
2 ★Concept is good, and it integrated with tasker no problem, but it won't find my Vera running UI7. I'm guessing it's probably because I'm remote and it needs to be on the same network so I'll update if/when I can get it to work. Other negative is that the ads are really crazy on this app, but to be fair I'm just in trial mode right now. So far, just a little frustrating, but hopefully it'll get sorted.

5 ★This is the first app that made me stop using AutHomation, which is good because it doesn't seem to be actively developed anymore. It served me well for 1.5 years, but now this plugin is my goto since I already use Tasker. The only reason I tried it was to use it along with AutoVoice to do voice automation through a Moto 360. Although AutHomation is free and also works through Tasker, this is a cleaner solution for my purposes and offers more options. It works great!

1 ★I downloaded this app and it hangs when I try to refresh Veras. Not sure if this is compatible with UI6 or not. This app might have problems with the new authentication they introduced with UI 6.
