A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★If you would like a opener that can be controlled via an application i would stay away from OHD and Genie. I had a new opener installed and have been unable to get the opener registered. Application support is aware of issue and a week later still no resolution. To use another app you will need to buy a third party hub. Dont waste your money with their wifi opener because you wont be able yo use it. Pick another opener brand. Sorry but im regretting spending the extra cash for this feature
3 ★works, but when the garage controller is turned off (light on my legacy is off and no buttons, wireless controls, etc will work) the app still says the signal is received when requesting an open/close signal. maybe have the app report when the opener is turned off/disabled so you arent wondering why the app is not opening or closing the door? other than that, seems to work just fine.
1 ★OHD Anywhere has been great. Then since the update 9/8/20, it completely stopped. App wont open on Galaxy S20 ultra. Nor my work phone Galaxy S10. So where was your QA dept? Why was this not tested before pushing to stores? This was a horrible deployment and app upgrade. Have had this product for 4 years and never an issue. Now its junk. Fix immediately please and actually perform unit, system, and acceptance testing before releasing an upgrade.
4 ★Installed new Genie opener a month ago. Was going to purchase a different model but saw this had the Aladdin app so paid more for this model. Waste of money. Got it specifically so I could get push notifications for security reasons. I get notifications maybe 5% of the time. On phone with support, multiple calls, told me to uninstall/install Aladdin, then install OHD. Then uninstall/install. Nothing. UPDATE: updated app, now getting push notifications.
1 ★Getting really annoying how this app logs out frequently, often with updates. I want tobe able to control my garage without constantly having to sign in. This last update also cleared out the doors I have permission to access. So now not only did I have to log in again, I need to set up the garage door again! Very frustrating!
1 ★This has been a nightmare process to try to get it registered. We've followed the instructions exactly as it said, scanned the serial, and it won't register the device. So right now we have a worthless app and worthless opener. Best part is that there's ZERO support.
1 ★Incompatible with android, only works with apple products for connecting to the wifi. Huge waste of money on an opener i cant connect to. AFTER UPDATE: Still 1 star. Door connects but cannot be controlled through the app, app does not recognize status of door, overall still useless. Maybe one day ill be able to use my expensive opener properly.
5 ★best route to go to by pass LED frequency interference. the app will walk you throught it step by step with pictures as well. and the customer service is highly knowledgeable. I love the door report senser for the kits. just wish the motors with it built in came with the sensor. self updates. keep up the good work.
1 ★The app has a lot of bugs. It frequently looses a connection with the internet and WI-FI controller. These problems started when Android updated phones to Android 8. Developers need to update the app for newer versions of Android.
3 ★Previous update logged me off and had to reset password to log back in. The latest update and 'door history' says door open/closes are happening 5 hours in the future. Plus an interface change that degrades the user experience by requiring more clicks for my actions. Ugh.
3 ★When you get this app setup it works great. Problems with updates messing things up. Emails from OHD do not help with their instructions on PW recovery. Wish I could help beta test their updates. More attempts to contact Customer Support with 2+ hour phone wait. Not good at taking care of simple problems
2 ★Installed for a month. Now it seems to have forgotten my door and wants me to add it again, but saying the serial number of the opener, that I added fine a month ago, is invalid. Uninstaller and reinstalled, didn't help.
