Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★This is a great resource for looking up colors, and what you'll need to paint different pieces of your models. It's also good for tracking your current Citadel paint inventory, and for making a paint wishlist. I'm really enjoying the app. While there are sample models to look at, they are not for tutorial purposes, as Citadel already has numerous painting tutorial videos in other places.
2 ★the app could be really cool however it falls short in the most crucial aspect. the app shows example pictures of models, you can then click on them to supposedly get the colors used in painting them. however the colors are almost always incorrect, they will at best show you a scheme that will vaguely look similar to the picture shown. the best example of this is the black Templar armor. the picture featured is from one of the studio painters armies, the app tells you to use 3 colors in achieving this look. however the actual artist did a step by step guide in a white dwarf article on how he painted the armor, it uses 5 paints and none of those 5 are ones that the citadel paint app recommends. if you have an example model the paint suggestions SHOULD reflect the colors ACTUALLY used!
4 ★I like the paint inventory ability a lot. I noticed though that textures, discontinued colors, and some others are not able to be added. That's a shame because I would live to have my full paint inventory in one spot. Would also like to see captioning on the videos. These videos are not so useful if sound is not a possibility.
2 ★I liked it more when it was "citadel paint". It gave instructions on what colors to use to give you the proper outcome. And the color options were "Layer" and "drybrush". i typically liked drybrush because my layer paintjobs did not always turn out the way i wanted. But now with "citadel color" drybrush Colors are not presented in the color options, just "classic" and "contrast" now. are they trying to force people off of drybrushing for a nice finish, or am I missing something? Edit: it crashed
3 ★The inability to save you inventory and access it from multiple devices, is a huge let down. The lack of dry brush color listings for "Paint by Model" also odd... They need to add individual results pics specific to the techniques used not "copy/paste" the traditional one. and the need a side-scroll for dry brush as opposed to edge highlighting
2 ★Buggy as hell With the new update to add the contrast paints, constantly crashes when looking up color schemes per model.... No problems before that. Update: The app still crashes, I am able to look at aprox 4-5 different color schemes before nothing but crashes. Before It was 2 at most before the "stopped because this app uses too much memory error" Update: 6/21/19 Ita s shame, app still crashes, same memory error, on a Note 4
1 ★Not sure why they removed, or hid, one of the best features of this app. You could scan the barcode of any paint and it would pull it up in your inventory. I used this to both quickly check if I already owned a paint or to add it to my inventory. My only usage of this app is tracking what Citadel Paints I own and now I need to open the search bar and type it out and select it. Why remove one of the best features of the app. It's now just a glorified spreadsheet and catalog. Disappointing.
2 ★The app offers a quick way to view what paints you need and what ones you already have when you get overwhelmed at your local GW store's paint rack. However, it desperately needs an update, many models are missing and trying to organize the ones they do have under the "projects" tab is anything but user friendly. A fine app but I would rely on youtube more tbh.
1 ★For the most part, this app is helpful. I have a few issues with it though 1. they haven't added any models to the example list in quite sometime. 2. Some of the highlight layers are out of order on models, the commissars for example. 3. Some of the color names given with the model dont appear in the search by color section. 4. There are a fair number of factions and sub factions within armies that have little to no representation.
4 ★The older version was, i think, better than it's current version. It's way to basic and doesn't have the classic method. Yes, it does have the classic method only in two steps (for any color you use). If there is a way to to bring back that old method and keep the contrast method too then i say go for the app, but if really want to know how to paint these models the classic way and have a challenge now whatch videos on warhammer tv, or the app itself.
2 ★Could be the best tool for painting warhammer by far but is a shell of an app. Very few models, even fewer chapters and factions. Not even a single model for some armies. You can't order paints through the app. The youtube videos associated with the models they do have aren't linked or referenced. The instructions are vague and don't actually reference the painting techniques needed for the steps outlined. Two stars because there is SO MUCH room to improve. App is hot garbage as it currently is.
5 ★This app is very helpful even though it suffers from a few minor issues. Saving to a list is confusing. I found most of the paint schemes I want but it's missing other major ones like some Traitor Chapters such as the Night Lords which is the one I was mainly looking for. It also needs Ulthwe Eldar and Renegade Chapters. Overall it is very handy despite some shortcomings.
