It turns your mobile device into a professional diagnostic equipment that usually cost thousand of dollars, it is being trusted by 439+ professional repair shops around the world.
Dr. Prius perform test and provides access to all the relevant battery information to quickly help identify problems with a simple touch on the screen of a smartphone, do not fall victim to bad battery, test the battery and print the certificate to prove the health of the battery system.
This app requires a ELM327 Bluetooth OBD interface to communicate with your hybrid vehicle, most of the cheap clone ELM327 will not work due to inability to switch between ECUs in your vehicle. It is generally NOT a good idea to use WiFi OBD2 adapter due to the interruption of the internet during the connection.

1 ★Other than telling you you have either good or bad batteries, or does absolutely nothing. Total waste of time.

4 ★Not a bad app for testing hybrid battery, only issue is, it connects 1/10 x you have to keep closing and opening the app till it connects, for me anyway.. but its Worth it...., I used a viecar cost $28 and a obdII Bluetooth $5 adapter from ali express. I got the personal package, beats paying $200 for a technician to have a look
1 ★Its a scam. I paid £10.99 inapp purchase but the device doesnt even connect..
1 ★It doesn't work properly on my Prius. It keeps saying the battery is too cold to test despite driving it a good ways and the second test requires flooring the gas with a foot on the brake, in gear.... And even that stomach churning maneuver didn't work. It still couldn't tell me battery longevity. I can't trust this app. Something is wrong with it. At least it told me I have no battery or engine codes -- which I'm hoping is accurate!
5 ★I'm really impressed. Used other OBD2 devices and didn't expect to find this one geared towards Prius and Lexus hybrid batteries. I have not tried the advanced options via the extra purchase price. However, it seems well designed and affordable and would fund the programming. I like that there are no ads, and the free options are very useful. Advanced options are for testing battery. Includes extra helpful information if you have no background in repairing hybrid batteries (I have some).
4 ★I had an issue and reached out to Customer Service and they responded in one hour! this was so important , because my vacation is over in 8 days and I have some down time to service my battery. Thanks Dr. Prius!
