This app does represent a local contact account. This is helpfully for devices without local contact account (f.e. Nexus series) if you don't want to sync your contacts with Google servers. These contacts can be synced then f.e. with MyPhoneExplorer to your PC.
How to install MyLocalAccount APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download MyLocalAccount APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page

1 ★I've been using this app for 5 months now and now all of a sudden my contacts have disappeared. Hoping that the file was just corrupted, I tried searching for any kind of backup within the phone's directories without any luck. I contacted support via e-mail but didn't get any answer, and this is an urgent issue that can't wait any longer, so unfortunately I'm going the route of leaving a negative review to get some fast support. Update #1: It seems that I can still see the contacts if I dial their number, but selecting them shows an error message saying "Contact doesn't exist". So they're still here, but hidden or damaged, and I need the developer's help to retrieve them. Update #2: It seems the dialer isn't showing all of the contacts, some where also appearing in my contact history, but their names get quickly erased once they scroll into view.

For people who don't want to use Google accounts and whose devices don' t allow internal storage, this is a hidden gem. Although I would like more customization, such as changing profile name and image, but it works perfectly as it is. thanks!!
