1 ★Absolutely terrible experience. There is no option to confirm your purchase. If you click on payment, ticket purchase is immediate. I called customer service and while the rep was polite the only "refund" you can get is Gametime credits. I don't want the credits to ever purchase from this app again. There was no willingness to budge. Now, if Gametime would like to make things right and offer me a full refund to my original form of payment then I will modify my review.
1 ★If you can get last minute tickets from people who can't make the event and are selling theirs cheap... It's a good app. That almost never happens in my city though. And just now looking at a couple of shows with face value tickets available, they're $76 (with all fees) for two tickets through the promoter, or $106 through gametime. That is an ABSURD markup. I'm finally just uninstalling the app, having only used it once it 4 years.
5 ★Best sports ticket app ever!! I'm not sure why people are complaining, especially about the price. The price is well given with all fees at the end. It doesn't show it at first when it shows the list of tickets but it does explain it well once you click a ticket or tickets. Plus, you can change it in the settings to let you see the set prices with all fees once you first see them. I never bought tickets so great for so cheap!! And the layout is so easy to navigate and use!!👍🏻
3 ★I don't like how it tells u one price on the screen and the price jumps up as soon as u click on it. Or looking at the map it doesn't show all the offers till you zoom in, and then the offers are in the wrong place. Then when checking out, it asks me a bunch of questions. I didn't receive a confirmation email right away, and i need a confirmation email if i am not going to get the tickets right away.
1 ★Do not use this app. Enter your info at your own risk, there is no confirmation page so it's easy to buy tickets but they won't confirm for 20 minutes or so. No email or nothing. Easy to double purchase if you don't know that your first purchase went through. Then they wont give you a refund. Spoke with several customer service agents and they all tried to make you use ticketmasters broken system to resell them yourself. Terrible interface too, impossible to find what you need in settings.
1 ★Fees are way higher than other apps. For two tickets at $422 ($844 for both), the fees and taxes were a combined $389, roughly 47% of the original ticket price. Even ticket master has cheaper fees than that, so don't let gametime fool you when they say they charge lower fees than other sites. They truly charge considerably more. Same tickets on ticket Master were $389 a piece ($778 total) with $150 for taxes and fees combined.
1 ★I'm having issues accepting the tickets i purchased. It takes me to a blank screen when i hit the accept button. This is definitely a scam. I have tried to reach thru email and phone and they dont answer. Dont trust this app. I just paid over $1k on tickets still haven't received anything. It's been 3 hours since i purchased. Best option to call your bank and say how you were fraud from this app. Stubhub or Ticketmaster are definitely the best option for purchasing tickets. DONT TRUST THIS APP!
5 ★I've enjoyed getting tickets quick and easy through this app over the years. Finally ran into an issue with a ticket purchase to a concert, I called the customer service line and to my surprise I talked to a real person fairly quickly as I was waiting at the event. When they couldn't fix my ticket, they found me 2 new tickets that were in upgrade no questions asked. They turned what could have been a disaster for me and my date into a memorable night!
1 ★I feel fooled. The fees for the tickets I bought did not show on the page with the "confirm purchase" button. Later on I found out an extra $200 was charged on fees. Customer service did not solve the problem and did not want to reimburse me, even though this was before the 24 hours period they advertise (would give me credits but not my money back). Also, my credit card number was saved in the app without my consent. Not a trustworthy company.
4 ★This app for the most part was fast till the very end and then it leaves you with a black screen so you don't know what the hell's going on if your transaction is been deleted or get start all over fortunately ours came back on the screen about 20 seconds later and then it took me a while for the transaction to come back on the screen and finalize the deal. I actually think this work better but the other format you had before this one is faster and easier.
1 ★Do not waste your time with this app! The app doesn't have an option to add a promo code before checking out. When I emailed customer service to get some help adding my code for my 1st purchase. They said that the promo code needs to be claimed first before making a purchase. While they value my business, they are unable to provide a credit since I already purchased the tickets. Its advertised all over that you get a discount for first time users and I had a podcast promo code!
3 ★**Lowered my rating due to the removal of the games section! I used to check-in daily for the games, now I hardly ever open this app. So far so good! I did a price comparison across 3 or 4 different apps and Gametime was the best value. I haven't used my ticket yet, but transfer seems easy enough. I like that in my settings I can choose "All-in pricing" and see the total ticket price including fees. I rated 5 stars because of the games!
