Description
Correva l'anno 1975 quando sugli schermi televisivi di Misilmeri compariva una torre merlata, simbolo del comune, e un giglio, stemma del gruppo scout Misilmeri 1°. Don Lauri Carlo , arciprete della chiesa madre, e un gruppo di ragazzi avevano realizzato un sogno che lo stesso don Lauri rincorreva da tempo: dare vita a un'emittente televisiva locale. I canali di trasmissione erano il 45 e il 46 UHF, irradiati dalla postazione di contrada Petrosa (Misilmeri) con una potenza di 50 Watt. I programmi erano rigorosamente autoprodotti : informazione scout, incontri della squadra di calcio parrocchiale, ecc. Si penso' di inserire nel palinsesto le riprese, in diretta, dei consigli comunali, con grande entusiasmo degli amministratori del tempo (non si erano ancora viste,sulle poche emittenti locali che esistevano, programmi del genere.).Nel 1991 vengono diffuse le trasmissioni anche sul canale 55 UHF dalla postazione di Costa Zita (Marineo) con una potenza di 100 Watt, ampliando la copertura del segnale di TSE su altri 13 paesi della provincia. Nel 1993 si spegne il fondatore dell'emittente Don Lauri Carlo e nello stesso anno subentra alla guida dell'emittente don Giovanni Liotta, nuovo arciprete della parrocchia San Giovanni Battista, il quale prende con grande entusiasmo e impegno il compito di portarla avanti . In data 19 settembre 1994 arriva il tanto atteso decreto di concessione da parte del Ministero delle Poste e Telecomunicazioni. Nel 1997 TSE entra a far parte delle emittenti cattoliche autorizzate a ritrasmettere il segnale dell'emittente satellitare della CEI, SAT2000 rendendo un nuovo servizio alla comunita' misilmerese e ai paesi limitrofi. Nel 1998 ,per volonta' dell'arcivescovo Salvatore De Giorgi, don Giovanni Liotta viene trasferito nella parrocchia di Santa Luisa De Marillac, in Palermo, e prende il suo posto don Pietro Passantino. Il suo mandato nella parrocchia madrice dura appena un anno e all'inizio del nuovo anno pastorale 2000-2001 gli succede don Giuseppe Sunseri,. Il 21 settembre 2011 ,dopo 11 anni, don Giuseppe lascia la parrocchia e viene sostituito da don Filippo Gianfortone, attuale presidente e legale rappresentante dell'emittente televisiva TELESCOUTEUROPA.Latest updates
