Description
The Mercedes-Benz Rescue Assist App provides emergency services with quick and direct access via mobile devices to the digital rescue data sheets of all Mercedes-Benz cars and smart vehicles manufactured in or after 1990.When a QR code is scanned, the latest rescue data sheet for the respective vehicle is displayed in the language of the mobile device. It is also possible to access all of the rescue data sheets individually through a taskbar.
With this update, new 3D functions, including VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) functionality were added for certain vehicle models of model year 2016 onwards. The app offers VR/AR views automatically, if vehicle data sets include 3D data for the rescue card.
For all other vehicles, a 2D view of the rescue card is shown.
