Un completo directorio de las empresas turísticas del municipio, totalmente gratuito y actualizado.“Almonte, Smart Destination” es un proyecto de la Escuela de Organización Industrial, cofinanciado por el Ayuntamiento de Almonte y la Unión Europea a través de Fondos FEDER, cuyo principal objetivo es incentivar y dinamizar a las empresas del sector turístico de Almonte a través de una serie de acciones y desarrollos tecnológicos innovadores. El municipio de Almonte posee el potencial turístico y el clima adecuado para convertirse en un destino 365, capaz de dar satisfacción a los intereses de los visitantes que buscan un turismo de experiencias: Sol y playa, naturaleza, tradición, cultura, patrimonio, deporte y ocio, gastronomía…
El principal objetivo del Proyecto es la creación de un producto turístico capaz de representar y aglutinar a todas las empresas turísticas de las tres localidades, Almonte, Rocío y Matalascañas. Este producto se identifica como “Almonte, Smart Destination” o “Almonte, Destino Inteligente” en la línea de las últimas tendencias del turismo internacional que promueven la gestión inteligente de la información. El núcleo central del Proyecto ha sido el desarrollo de una nueva Plataforma Tecnológica de difusión para “Almonte, Smart Destination”, compuesta por un Gestor de Contenidos, que sirve la información a un nuevo Portal Web y a varias aplicaciones para teléfonos móviles. Estas nuevas herramientas de difusión ofrecen la información a los visitantes, cubriendo las tres etapas del viaje: planificación, desarrollo y difusión posterior.
Además, “Almonte Smart Destination” potenciar el turismo de peregrinación hacia El Rocío, a través de una segunda aplicación móvil “Camino de El Rocío”, que ofrece toda la información de los distintos itinerarios, sellado digital de las distintas etapas, historias y anécdotas de las peregrinaciones y de la Venida de la Virgen, e incluso otras funcionalidades como un juego de preguntas y respuestas que pondrá a prueba el conocimiento del Rocío que tengan los usuarios.
