4 ★Very good app that represents the options on the screen pretty well. It is intuitive to program. Still have a few unanswered questions... Such as, what is the limitation on programming and fan setting on "circulate"? But all in all, a logical, intuitive app.
2 ★I've been using this app for more than 3yrs. Its worked great up until Feb 2021. More often than not, the app fails to connect or is slow to connect resulting in the inability to change settings remotely. Lately, I keep receiving e-mails "CHANGE FAILURE NOTIFICATION - Your attempt to change the thermostat failed" more frequently than ever. Whatever is happening with your servers or systems, please correct it! This is very inconvenient for customers and defeats the purpose of having a smart thermostat.
1 ★App is not working. Keeps rotating the screen. Never signs in. It use to work good. It hasn't worked for a long time anymore. I'm using an android pixel xl. The only way to update my thermostat right now is to use the webpage. I am surprised to read it's working for others. I still cannot log in. It keeps telling me it can't connect. App works ok with my wife's Apple iPhone, not for my Android.
1 ★This app must be at it's end of life. I'm probably going to have to buy a new thermostat if I want to control it remotely. Opening the app takes at least 10 full seconds to connect to the thermostat. Alexa isn't even able to change the temperature anymore due to the extreme lag using this software. Did they decommission 90% of the servers dedicated to this app or what? It goes under maintenance seemingly every night. I have a pixel 5 and 500/35 internet speed so it's not on me.
2 ★My Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostat 9000 ,. Was working fine for the first 16 Months, Now during the hot southwest Florida Summer the Power goes off and on At Will,. All the wiring is still the same, Nothing lose..It is working Right After 11:45 pm till sometime in the morning..I Am not on Facebook or Twitter..so please Respond on this site or My E-mail Address..Help.. It's 88 deg, in the house And 77 deg At Night..(so Far)..
2 ★Unpredictable. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Honeywell is aware of the problem but hasn't fixed the issue yet. It never had issues before but about 2 months ago they must have changed the something on their servers side of things because about 1/3 of the time the app and thermostat can't reach my account. I've checked and it's not my internet.
3 ★I would give this a 5 star rating. But, something has happened recently to really slow the response down, often timing out before accepting my changes. Until recently, this has worked wonderfully. But I am definitely not satisfied with recent performance. What is really weird, is that my husband has an iPhone and his works fine. Please fix this soon. I really hate to get out of bed, just to adjust the thermostat. 8
1 ★I wanted to explain why I gave only 1 star but I was cut off after 500 words. And I didn't even finish my first issue. I have 3 issues. To many errors, unrecognized log-in credential, poor desing in time slots available for schedule set-up. Latest issue started Feb 28th. It's always something wrong with the app or the servers. Not enough space here to describe the issues. Paid around $200 and I am very dissapointed by the product, app and the website. It does not deliver what it should.
1 ★Up until about 3 weeks ago, this app worked flawlessly for me for 4 years. Login time was nearly instantaneous. I could connect to both of my thermostats, make changes, hit "submit", and the system would respond, all within less than 10 seconds. Now, it takes close to a minute to bring up my thermostat status, and the changes don't always save. The performance of this app fell off a cliff 3 weeks ago and it's basically useless now. Someone needs to investigate what changed and fix it!
2 ★App seems to work okay, when the UI is usable. However, if you have your Android system's Display Size set to small, the app gets stuck in landscape mode and the UI does not scale to fit the screen - very difficult to use. Would love to see a fix for this.
1 ★I have used these thermostats for years. The app has historically been hit or miss but tolerable since it worked most of the time. However, within the last 3 months or so it has become mostly unusable. The app is so sluggish that it takes several minutes to connect, if it connects at all. There are frequent problems with connections through the app. Most of the time changes do not go through. Right now it's 8:00 am on a Monday and the app does not work on any tablet or phone that I use.
1 ★Consistently getting error messages. The app says no internet when the interface is connected and working just fine. Sometimes I have to restart it over and over before it actually let's me control my temperature. It seems to be getting worse and an update is needed Update: now it's a complete joke to use this. It doesn't work at all anymore. It freezes and has tons on errors.
