Description
A lightweight, no-nonsense sticky notes widget. No permissions required!Resizable, scrollable, and enabled for both your home screen and (on devices running Jelly Bean and KitKat) lock screen.
There is a hidden sticky note history feature that allows users to view their sticky note edits from the past 24 hours (in case of accidental deletion, etc). To access the feature:
1) Add a sticky note widget to your home screen.
2) Open the sticky note widget editor by tapping on the widget.
3) Double-tap the editor screen 5 times in quick succession.
4) Swipe left and right on the history screen to see the available notes
*You may need to restart your device before the widget shows up in your widget list.
*Due to Android limitations this app may not be visible when installed on the SD card.

2 ★Can't quickly switch back to this app via android recently used apps menu. Otherwise, it's pretty simple and works.
5 ★Simple and fast. I used to do the hipsterPDA thing and keep a stack of note cards in my pocket to make quick, disposable notes on. This is just about as fast. Would it be nice if it synced, or did backups, let you change colors, or whatever? Sure, but then it wouldn't be fast and simple.
5 ★For those not seeing it as an app on your home screen, that is because it's not. This is a widget. For my galaxy s8 at least, you have to hold down on an empty part of the home screen. When the screen gets smaller, there will be a bar of options that pop up along the bottom screen. Select "widgets" then drag and drop the widget where you want it to be. You can then hold down the notepad widget to resize it and move it to another screen.

4 ★This app is useful. Very easy to use. The only things holding the app back from getting a five star review are that it doesn't save your notes, it takes a bit of figuring out to find it for some people, there's no undo button and there's this glitch that doesn't allow you to edit your notes. It's easy to fix as you just need to resize it.
5 ★Amazing. It has even less features than the Windows 7 Sticky Notes! I just love a reminder on my homescreen, not a reminder, and this just understands it.
5 ★Love this widget. No permissions involved; quick and straightforward functionality; does what it says it does, and nothing more. Also allows full control of content and how it is ordered/sorted. The only drawback is that it can be accidently edited by accidently touching the screen, but in light of the rest of its perfection, it still rates 5 stars. Simply perfect.
4 ★Just what I wanted basic functional note widgets that I can access quickly. It would be nice if like other note taking apps it auto capitalised when i start a new line or a new sentence.
5 ★Absolutely fantastic app. No creepy permissions that want your pictures and contacts etc. lists. Sticky note looks like you stuck a sticky note on your home screen, you do not have to go into an app to see your note, also size adjustable. And it works fantastic. I bought the full version, that gives you extra note background colors. To the developer, my friends with Apple iPhones want to know if you are going to have a version of this for them as there is nothing like this available on Apple.

I was looking for something easy to put on my phone's home screen to help me remember things and this cute little sticky note has done just that 😃 Also, many of the bad reviews are from people not realizing what a "widget" is and not knowing how to use it properly. After downloading, press down on your home screen and click something like "add widget". You'll find the option to place this note there.
5 ★Exactly what you want in a quick jot down situation. Simple, straightforward, easy to make new notes, practically negligible data/storage use. Easily the best app for this service. Very minor suggestions would be color coding capability and clearer scrolling/preview for long notes. But since these would add to storage space and detract from simplicity they're not necessary.
5 ★First of all, this is a widget, not an app! Too many negative reviews said they couldn't find it in their app list. For my phone I press and hold on the home screen to add widgets, though every phone is different. The sticky works great. It is nothing more than a super bare bones means of leaving a note for yourself, which is precisely what I needed. The size can be adjusted to make it take up the full screen or be tiny. If that is what you want, I would 100% recommend.
