The Equipment App offer users an easy way to view and manage equipment’s while leveraging effective collaboration across the enterprise. You can view your list of assets, current location of the asset, Last updated SMU. If the user is stuck on any of the machine operations, he can view the instructional videos and operational maintenance manual for the assets, and it also offer users an option to download the videos and OMMs to watch it offline.
The App provide means to communicate with your dealer by making call through the app. And also you can find the nearby dealers and add it in your list for easy access. In addition to that, a user, when faced with any issues on the app, can report regarding it. Also they can suggest new features to the app, which they think can add more value to it.

App requests the following permissions
GeoLocation: App will offers user to search their dealer contact information's based on their current Geolocation. For that it will request to access user's location information. Denying the access, you will be not able search or add dealers based on locations.
Camera/Gallery: You can take new image or upload existing images from gallery as your Profile image or Equipment image. App will request your permission to access your device camera/gallery to upload. if you deny you will not be allowed to upload your preferred images.
Contact: You can collaborate as part of myEquipment sending invitations and working as a team. Denying access to this features will restrict your access your contact book and collaborate with fellow app users.
Persistent Location Tracking : We track Caterpillar telematic devices which are connected to machines and send the location to back office to keep log of the information.
Bluetooth Low Energy : The Caterpillar telematic devices which are connected to machines emit Bluetooth packets to send information periodically which contains the device information along with location information
