In Amazon Alexa app or alexa.amazon.com:
• Enable the Quick Remote skill
• Link to Quick Remote using your Amazon account
• Using 'Login with Amazon' your email will only be used to link with the mobile app
In your phone:
• Install this mobile app in your phone
• Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku device
• In your phone's Wi-Fi settings set it to keep Wi-Fi ALWAYS on during sleep
• Select the Roku device you want to control in the devices menu
• Login with Amazon using the same account as your Alexa app -- your email will only be used for linking
IMPORTANT: Your phone's Wi-Fi needs to ALWAYS stay on during sleep for it to receive commands from Alexa devices and send it to your Roku. Also, if your phone has trouble connecting with your Roku then turn off battery optimization for this app in Android Settings > Battery Optimization
Back at your Alexa device:
• Say "Alexa, ask Quick Remote to pause" -- Voila! your Roku will do as you say!
• Say "Alexa, ask Quick Remote to go home, right, down and select" -- it will follow multiple commands at once!

2 ★very few functions actually work and require very wordy commands. Also, using the remote is nearly impossible with popup adds every 20 seconds. I cant even select a show or type a search without multiple adds popping up and blocking the remote repetedly. mostly useless.

1 ★you can't use a smart TV with this app. the ads that pop up every few taps makes looking through Netflix and other apps an extremely frustrating effort in futility. This is the worst app I have ever downloaded!
1 ★Very complicated and doesn't work very well after you turn the TV on. It also costs money and plays ads on the remote function. Essentially useless
3 ★Too many FULL PAGE ADS. Remote is great except you have to be constantly looking at your remote because you're finger is accidentally saying yes to an ad you don't want to say yes to.
4 ★Keeps glitching. Goes to Kindle Audible sometimes when using touchscreen or frequently does not respond to audio commands. When waiting starts asking "Are you there?" withn seconds.
3 ★The ads are ridiculous! You can't just scroll through movies or shows because your entire phone screen suddenly becomes an ad while you're doing it.
2 ★Pairing with Alexa is simple but the quick remote doesn't take commands from Alexa well. plus you only get 50 free commands a month or pay for premium. No thank you.
1 ★rediculous amounts of ads. works great. just an ad ever 15 sec. can't even type in the serch bar with out 5 ads( not an exageration) i get it's free. but this it's rediculous.
