3 ★This is a pretty good app and it works well for tracking pet activities and learning a routine. The reminders reset for 2 months out instead of 1 month when on a monthly repeat (maybe the 1st of the month glitches?). On newer phones, notifications of pet activity don't come through, posing an issue for pets with multiple caretakers. It's not just my phone, my husband no longer receives notifications since getting a new phone as well.
3 ★Briefly, overall, it gets the job done. But important things just arent options. We play ALOT more then we walk but there is no button for, "play". Each picture needs to be really small which sucks. I take many pics that I cannot send. There's no place in the feed to write a simple written update. I have to send 2 long texts during the day to give a more detailed update. The caption with each activity has to be under 7ish words. I could write a lot more. Definitely could be better IMO...
4 ★I just started using this the other day and I love it! I also have a cat so I tried to make a custom section for him but I couldn't rename it at all so it's just sitting in my "custom" section. So adding the functionality of actually being able to make custom sections and also being able to get a single notification for logged events instead of individual notifications for each of the animals would be fantastic.
4 ★Update: They fixed the crashing issue really fast! I love this app because its really easy to log what you need to. It has a lot of features to use. However my main reason for getting an app like this is to be able to predict what time my dog will go potty. I was hoping the app would do this for me, but you have to pay $40 a year for it! I can't spend that much a year. I get that the makers of this app need money too, but I wish they would let you buy individual features without a monthly cost.
4 ★This is an amazing app and actually worth the 3.99$ for analytics. I would give 5 stars if not for 2 things. Please give us the ability to take weight and temperature off the main screen since it's not something I take every day. It would be awesome to choose what we want. Also for times of the day under the last 14 days having it brokendown to hour would be better.
5 ★Simple and easy to use. No extra fluff you wouldn't need. It's an app to log your dogs activities throughout the day. Let family or friends join your pack so they can update you when they are dog sitting! Create custom actions to log additional things you may want. Only feature I want is to be able to locally save photos that are posted to the log. I emailed the support and they said it was a great idea and will add it to a future release! Highly recommend!
5 ★When there is more than one person caring for a dog, DogLog is essential to not feeding the dog twice; to knowing the dog is saying he needs to go pee, not play; when the last time he got his meds; track his weight to determine if he's being overfed; etc. And the fact that all entries are kept "in the cloud" means your app is automatically updated whenever anyone makes an entry. And you can program reminders so that infrequent tasks are not completely forgotten. I highly recommend DogLog.
3 ★It has very few options. No way to export data. No way to edit whether a pee or poo was done inside or outside (potty training). Statistics are just amount of events logged not useful at all. I would like to see a time graph with walks, pees, poops, feedings, etc.
4 ★Simple and easy to use. My wife and I have been using this app to track our dog's actions for about a week. There is some previously mentioned clunkiness (i.e. the edit function isn't intuitive) but it follows the heuristic of keeping the app simple well. Given how important consistency is in raising dog it's amazing there aren't more options for multiperson account trackers like this out there! I hope the developer continues to update.
3 ★Still having events disappear at the least need manual sync option. Have to have wifi or data connection when entry is made to save events. If no connection, events are not synched then when app is closed events disappear. When I notice I have no connection I have to delete event and reenter it when I have connection. Manual sync would help deal with this issue. I contacted you months ago and you said you would check that out but nothing has changed. Really like app otherwise.
5 ★Great app to log activities and keep track of pees and poos to start to build a good bathroom schedule for your pup. Great if your dog requires medications regularly! Suggestions: Having the ability to disable the SVG Icons and just have the list item adjust it's height if "Duration" & "Quantity" are present to fit more content on my screen. Add ability to edit what stats appear at top of log. Bug: When you edit an existing log, AM/PM sets to local time's AM/PM without actually editing anything.
3 ★Only 3 pets allowed in a pack and there is no notification of that limitation prior to the install. Need to manage 10. Would like to manage farm animals so need ability to enter their weight up to 2000 lbs. Also, need ability to hide, alter, or delete default events. Would be nicer if custom event icons were more generic and not specifically associated with dogs.
