Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Sucks. Plain n simple. Not user friendly, doesn't work most of the time, trouble connecting, etc....... I would have expected better from a company like Kenwood.
1 ★Frustrating waste of time, crashes constantly. Bought this specifically for Waze and Pandora for long weekly trips. after about 20 mins each drive I would be able to get things stable enough to listen to music, however the App would reboot often and I would have to start over while driving 70 MPH. lately the App won't even start. It constantly crashes offering a feedback screen eventually, but before you can submit anything it reboots again. Don't spend any extra money on this from Kenwood
1 ★disappointing at best. app is severely limited in capability. pandora does not play audio when running Waze navigation or any other app. program has conflict issues with android auto and the 2 apps constantly compete to opperate. freezes and disconnects and is pretty close to usless. was excited to get my ddx6705s reciever for my travel vehicle but when the apps don't work smoothly for what I bought the unit for it extremely fusterating
1 ★Horrible, most times it won't load apps, just says error loading apps or else it freezes up if it does on the odd occasion, work.. Plus it turns waves Maps off in the settings constantly so you need to go into settings before using and make sure it hasnt turned if off. The other Map won't actually direct you anywhere, will just show where you're travelling at the time
1 ★I wasted a lot of money buying an expensive Kenwood car stereo so I could use Waze on it. It's virtually worthless it crashes all the time and doesn't fill the screen like it's supposed to it constantly reverts to a thumbnail size. Kenwood doesn't seem to care about fixing it.
1 ★Intentionally bought kenwood DMX7018BT in Mac 2019 because it cames with Waze. Regretly, now after latest firmware update, by May 2019, waze does not support weblink anymore. If I know this earlier, I wont buy this junk.. Sadly, now there is no GPS navigation anymore! It is worthless! I want my money back and you can keep the head panel for good
1 ★I can only use this app once if I am lucky before having to restart my phone. Other times it says that nothing is connected or my device is not compatible (Samgsung S8). It completely disables the user of android auto until a restart also. I waited at least a year while hoping it would improve. Super disappointed add this has greatly effected the usability of my Kenmore deck. Wasted money.
2 ★Doesn't always connect to my s9 plus. Waze partnership is being discontinued so the navigation maps on screen will be gone at end of the month. YouTube only works for mobile videos but will show you all videos on YouTube to click on before being told it won't support it. I like how easy spotify is to use on this along with other apps. would give higher rating if they can give us another map app we can use on screen with our radios. I use a kenwood ddx775bh radio.
1 ★App stays in notification tray permanently and won't leave. That's a big no no for something so useless when there is android auto to use. Watch YouTube or other video content if supported, while parked and not moving, seems the only reason anybody would want to use this. Not a lot of times when that would come up for me. If you wait in your parked car a lot with the radio on then this would be nice I guess.
1 ★Dunno if its the app or head unit or both, but at least the head unit is a pig with lipstick. The app however, is just a pig. So is andriod auto with this Kenwood head unit. A pig. Doesnt work with older or brand new phones with the latest and greatest software either. When and if it does, will crash for no reason. Say Galaxy9 isnt a supported device. Niether is the LG note. Or the stylo 4. Or.... you get the point. Kenwood seems to be putting turds out these days. But with lipstick.
1 ★I've re installed this app multiple times trying to get it to work. I just keep getting error codes and the app won't start up. Frustrating as all hell...
1 ★Needs a lot of work. Switching between WebLink and Android Auto forces you to unplug and replug the usb cable, hoping it'll reconnect again. Waze doesnt mirror on the receiver, opens the phone but thats it. Maps. Its fine except it doesnt speak the directions. So whats the point.
