1 ★Driving Mercedes Metris is just loosing money, you can do more with any sedan, difference is around 30$ a day, but you pay almost 180$ more on metris and 10$ more on gas daily, so on 6 days, you pay around 250 $ more on metris and get payed around 200 $ more on same car. If you get Toyota Camry for example, you save at least 50$ weekly. So why I have to work on metris and earn more money for the company when actually I'm losing my money? Morning rush hours I used to have full load with 6 passengers, while on Camry I can have maximum of 3 passengers on same hours but difference is 6$, while company earns double )) good luck have fun :D I'm going to give that car back as soon as my 1 month contract expires, I'm happy that I did not make lease to own and tried the car first or I could make the biggest mistake ever )) also I believe they should pay more when you are taking 2-3 different passengers (different trip) for long routs like JFK to Manhattan or Newark to Manhattan while your per hour rate is 21$ and you need like 40 min to earn around 80$ - 90$ for the company and you are getting payed like 16$ - 18$ ))
1 ★Via need some major improvement in the Flex it sucks,the worst part of it if you log in late it be a while to get back to via blue or flash blue if you lucky flashblue be like 2 to 3 hours then back to flex when promotion on and your money sucks then not enough pick ups in flex this is why i change rate,the worst part you can be in a shaded heated area and still lack of pick ups, the flex should get paid for 30 min wait😠😡😠😠this makes me mad flex need approvement,the pick up cater to blue
1 ★The GPS is horrible and the speaker doesn't know her right turns from her left turns and doesn't know what a yield is or a merge. The turns are incorrect and no it gives no future turns. It gets confused on which exit you should take and it is very unsafe. Fix it fast before someone gets hurt.
1 ★the via driver gps is the worst. i wish there's a way to use waze or google maps on all trips i been a rideshare driver for over 5 years and the via driver navigation is the worst it has so many flaws and negative things i'm a professional driver with high rating and that via driver app makes me feel like i don't know how to drive
3 ★I am having a lit of problem with it daily I have to uninstall and re install in order to open it for work and log itself off wherever it feels like . Would like to have it permanently on my phone without going thru all this steps to start working , I am going to let via knows the issue that I am having with it.
3 ★New update is very poor. You see a much shorter distance on the navigation map, visual cues are less accurate & they removed written cues. I see no improvements, only regression. All around, much less efficient or clear than the previous version.
1 ★For every single rider cancelation or rider no show you have call the support team. Imagine!f every single cancelation and rider no show you have to call them! However they NEVER answer the calls. Specially in heavy traffic it's absolutely wasting time, gas and money!!
2 ★at least once a day the app will start notifying me with that stupid Bing bong noise to go to a location that I am already at. I'm on location I'm online and it won't stop chirping at me I call via support they can't do anything this is a bug in the system and it needs to be fixed
2 ★When you leave the App, you get disconnected from the it. It take a driver close to an hour before he/she can get a single ride, so being on the App constantly can be so boredom. The company of itself is not favorable for drivers.
3 ★The app needs improvement. Should have more options for drivers, like rejecting a trip option. especialy if they don't know they are leaving the state or going to other boroughs.
4 ★Four stars only because of the app issues, otherwise, these guys are awesome. No other company guarantees you pay, Uber, Lyft, city Cab, suburb cab, I've done it all. Their system is different and unique, few bugs to fix, but who doesn't... Watch this growth.
3 ★Give you run around on the promos. Dont seem to have the rides or intentially dont give them to you so they wont pay the promos. If you are a driver they discount rides basically reach in your pocket take $ out. You be the judge. Make the apps compete as they like to say it, it is a business. You the driver are #1. You pay for the expense and your time is not free. Make them earn your time. Good luck with it!
