4 ★I finally managed to solve the problem with audio play. To all of you that have android, check if you have a program that blocks unwanted messages for some reason, nextory goes automatically to the block list and that's why the audio books only work for couple of minutes, then the message blocker blocks it and shuts it down! I have no more problems since I discovered this error. I have Samsung galaxy 9+
2 ★The app is not very good, the skip 15s function is erratic and its a guess if it will jump 15s or 2 minutes. If I pause, then it might reverse to the latest bookmark, it might jump forward or back 2 minutes. The bookmark take you to the set time,but the audio is not what it was when I set the bookmark, it's always about +- 2 min. Improve the pause, skip and bookmark function and it gets 4 stars.
2 ★Okay app but they need, NEED the option to navigate their audiobooks by chapters. As someone who reads the physical book as well as listen to it, it is incredibly frustrating, trying to find a spot in a book without any ability to see the chapters. // Edited down from 3 to 2 stars. Reason: every time I pause a book, it starts up in a completely different spot before or after where I was, between 15s and 3+ min away. Doesn't matter if I paused for 2 seconds or a day.
2 ★I've tried a handful of audio book apps and this service is the worst. More expensive than competitors with same library. Complicated 3 different types of subscription. Not the best user interface with a handful of small, annoying glitches. When I canceled my subscription during trial period it blocked access even though it should be available until end of trial period.
5 ★My wife and I have had this app about half a year now. Both of us like it very much. My wife prefer listening to books, but I prefer reading them. I have Nextory both on my telephone and on my Android pad. At home I use the pad, but while going by bus or sitting somewhere in a waiting room I read on the phone. At first I was afraid the phone window should be too small, but it is not. I can easily read on it. My wife and I are telling each other when we read a book the other perhaps will like.
2 ★Unfortunately the playback on this app is very buggy. I can't get the player to show up on my lock screen or notification pane, it only occasionally reacts to the pause/play commands from my Bluetooth earphones (not a problem with any other audio apps) and, most annoyingly, the playback often starts several minutes before or after where I paused. The selection for Finnish and Swedish books are ok but quite limited for books in English.
3 ★Since the update yesterday, the app will stop playing audiobooks after a short while (this is a major bug). Other small annoyances is that you can't browse your favorited books and other lists without being scrolled back to the top after viewing a book's details, the inability to sort favorited books and that not all parts of the app are translated.
4 ★I've had this app for 2 years now and it's been great. However, recently it has become harder for me to find books I'm interested in reading. The algorithm keeps recommending books I've already read in the app, which doesn't help. I would like to see more variety and more books from African authors too. The app also keeps crushing when paused. Please fix this.
3 ★Selection is a bit there and there. Its really hard to see all certain area books. I doubt query picks some single word being related to certain book. Also it would be good to have even more area related search. Would bring also more value to have a ability to set keywords and when some new books related to keywords would arrive user would get email proposal. Now you have to actively search every month random words to notice them. As recommended in main are just some common wannabe books.
1 ★Cancelling your subscription before trial period stops your rights to books immediately, and then you cannot use the trial period to the end. This kind of practise should be illegal. Other 14 day trial period services do not conduct their business like this - if you cancel your subscription, you can continue to use the service until the end of the trial period.
1 ★After the latest update (which was supposed to fix that the app stops itself from time to time) the app is now useless for listening on audio books since it stops the book 1 min after the screen is locked (even though allowed to run in background and with performance mode enabled). Please fix ASAP (and start to smoke test the app before release...)

The author has done excellent job in making the plot interesting by mixing fun, humor and thrill together. Every page keeps you hooked and does not let you leave. Simple yet...
