3 ★You get what you want. An application to manage your steam account and library. Overall a 3 out of 5 due to a number of bugs and glitches. Also some of the features like adding friends can be hard to find due to Valve try to squish everything in one app. I would recommend this app if you use steam alot it will help with many thing and let you chat with friends on the go. The verification feature is nice as it saves alot of time. So don't bother to check this app out if your a steam gamer.
1 ★I tried to reset my password using the app, but it needed to send a verification code to my email. By the time the email arrived, the app kicked me back to the regular login thus preventing me from entering the code. The app is only really useful for two step verification (and only if you have your password).
3 ★theres a lot of room for improvement on the mobile app, sometimes its annoying using the app but it isnt really particularly bad. still a 3 star for me considering the blizzard app is absolutely magnificent.
1 ★This app is pathetic. The bugs start from the very login page and it's almost impossible to sign in to my account. The confirmations page is also not working since the last few weeks. Using it is irritating at the best. Please fix this app
2 ★The only that you can do on the moblie version is to text people or buy something for steam through your phone. You should be able to listen to music that's in your library instead of doing on your computer.
2 ★It makes two factor authentication so much easier but sometime the apps just refuses to work properly like right now i was just using it then out of the blue it said "You can only receive confirmations on the device with your Steam Mobile Authenticator. If you want to receive confirmations on this device, please remove your authenticator from the current device and add it back on this one." And that's weird because the thing i'm ising right now is the one i use. No clue how to fix it and i'm mad
4 ★Good for investing in community market whilst not on your computer but the steam guard feature is unnecessary and puts you on a market hold for a week (you can't buy or sell items for a week) but good overall.
3 ★The rating is due to this app is a clunky and water down version of the main Steam site. I love this app, it has a Steam guard for protection, allows me to browse, trade in the marketplace, add to the wish lists, make Steam guides, and etc. The downside is that ya need the Steam Chat app to get a better experience. Lastly, some of the navigation is wonky, like even linking a curator's url in the forums has to be in a certain one way.
1 ★I strongly recommend against using the Steam app for two-factor authentication. If you press the home button during setup then your recovery code won't be displayed. This could get you locked out of your account if you lose access to your phone. When I set up the authenticator my phone wasn't showing any codes. Luckily I was already logged into Steam on my PC. Use the email method instead because it's much simpler and more reliable. I'm surprised Valve released an app this substandard.
1 ★I cant even get past the account creation screen, I put in my email nothing, then it tells me that the emails are either invaild or they dont match, when they do. When it finally works it tells me to verify, which I do but then, it boots me back to the sign-in screen without finishing the process ive been having to share an account for years, and I cant even make one for myself.
4 ★Why people don't like it I don't know so much. I just saw some people have problem with login and guard. I don't have problem for now. So I give it for 4 stars. Maybe I will change it. But I'm not sure. Just I like it. It's useful for trade and protection account.
1 ★I can't seem to create an account. I have been trying for months now. I have tried the desktop app too, still not working. I'm not able to get past the signup page. I keep getting an error saying "your responsetocaptcha appearsto be invalid bla bla bla... " even though I get the green thick that signify otherwise. It has been an horrible experience for me. I guess I just have to use other vendors
