1 ★Update is awful. It is difficult to pick your location and automatically load to the last location ordered instead of the nearest to your location. This makes it very easy to place an order at the wrong location that the company WILL NOT let you cancel. Also, the app constantly logs you out between every use. Very poor thought out update.
1 ★UPDATE: 1/4/24-App does not work at all since recent update! Sigh! This app has not worked for two or three weeks now. I have tried logging out, deleting and reinstalling it numerous times, and have restarted my phone. It is just hung up and will not complete the order process. Please get it fixed. We go to Sonic a lot, and like to use the app when we order.
1 ★The redesign. I can see this new UI to be complex, but my main issue is that your app never says I'm at the sonic location even though I'm parked right at the stalls this is happening everytime acting like I'm 0.2 miles from the location when I parked right on the marker to check and it still would not let me check in. That needs to be fixed.
1 ★Since the upgrade it has been no where near as user friendly. We have to login everytime reset location. The older version was just much easier on the go. Not to mention it just upgraded on it's own. I know these are little things, but when you don't usually remember your passwords it becomes a big thing. On the go convenience is really golden in this age. Also when I can remember my password, it freezes and shuts down. Or doesnt send to the store. Just give me back the other version, please.
1 ★Was 5 star but now is 1 star. They updated the app and added about 7 extra steps just to reorder a past order. Before all you had to do was push a plus sign and the app found the closest sonic and added everything g to your cart. Then all you had to do is pay. This is not the case anymore. App looks amazing but functions horribly its not smooth and requires too many steps. Previous version was 10000% smoother and easier for the end user.
1 ★Your app sucks now. I can't ever order anymore. Deleted and d/l again. Reentered all my info. Hasn't worked since the update to "make" it better. Days later and still can't order from my home store. It always has technical difficulties. But it will let me order from a store 10 miles away or 60. And still no response from Sonic. Go figure.
1 ★They recently updated the app and butchered it. It errors constantly, won't let me place orders at certain locations, takes forever to do anything, etc. Selecting a new ordering location sucks now. Every time i open the app i get signed out of my account.The ONLY improvement is that the prices are listed without have to go to the cart. Bring back the old app and add that single item to it.
1 ★I don't know how they do it, but every time they update this app they make it worse. After you get used to things being in specific places they change where you can find it, add clicks to get to it, and the newest feature is to make you wait behind loading screens for everything you select. I don't mind the UI overhaul, but why change a familiar navigation and add navigation trees? How is the whole app slower now? There are so many new steps to take. Who approved this mess?
1 ★Fix this app!!!! I'd give this updated app zero stars if I could - with the update, I can't get logged in. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it numerous times, and I still can't log in. We are a retired couple and used to go every day just to get out of the house or when we are running errands. Sonic-this update SUCKS!!!
3 ★My app doesn't let me order it just canceled and said I have an area in the system and tells me to try again later. But I've tried to uninstall and re-download and it still doesn't work. But when I used someone else's phone that had the old version my order went through fine and fast. This new version is junk and definitely needs to be fixed.
1 ★This app was great until the redesign. Now it's borderline unusable. Please go back to the earlier design! I had to edit this review to emphasize just how terrible this new app is. It's dangerous to use, and creates duplicate orders or refuses to order from the location you want. Don't try to fix this horrible app, just go back to the earlier version and fix any issues with it. This new app must be discarded entirely.
1 ★The update is horrendous. The app will not let me order anything. Everytime I've tried to order it tells me that there's technical difficulties to please try again later. I even unistalled and unstalled the app multiple times to be told the same thing when trying to order. It's ridiculous. If you knew you were doing an update you should have checked the app for bugs or issues. And it seems like I'm not the only one with issues with the app as well. Fix your stuff please.
