1 ★Terrible, I'm sorry if you got this thermostat because of your builder. I did, it is the worst app I have very had to deal with. It's like the people who made the app didn't have a thermostat to test with and as a result only 10% of things work. The best thing to do is ignore the app suffer with the stupid thermostat and within a year rip it out of your house.
1 ★Takes painfully long to start and connect to thermostat. Ever since recent update, I get a timed out error which forces me to press OK, every time I navigate the menu. I get the error message even if there is no error. Eventually got the app working at a satisfactory level, after many hours. Schedule system is horrible. Don't trust enough to use proximity feature to automate. Probably end up wasting energy. Given the poor quality, they probably use some minimum wage developer in another country.
1 ★Worst smart home experience ever. Unfortunately, my builder put these paperweights into my home and the app is trash. Not user friendly, no support, doesn't work. Trash. I have smart devices of every variety, and have NEVER encountered this much trouble with set up. The app looks like they made it in 1999 and works like 1989. What a waste of time.
1 ★Not able to control my thermostats in my house. They are both connected to WiFi, but the app does not show the correct temperature, allow me to change the temperature, or change the operating mode.
1 ★Thermostat is great. App is horrible. Many problems...at times I can't even open it; there's no way to by-pass password; no fingerprint option; when it does open, sometimes the "features" don't work. And, yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I asked Carrier if an upgrade was coming and not only did they say no, but they didn't seem interested in any improvements. I wish I knew about this before installation... I would have had contractor install a Nest or other brand.
1 ★I'd give this a zero if it were available. The app won't sync with a brand new thermostat. The UX is absolutely horrible. I bet that having connected features and mobile monitoring is great, but I wouldn't know since the app doesn't work. If not for the fact that the thermostat was included when I replaced my HVAC system, I would happily have kept my old Honeywell.
1 ★Worst experience ever! The app is extremely bad. Can't setup the thermostat. After hours of bugs, non friendly flows and steps the app should have taken automatically, I got stuck at the last step when linking the account. Some sort of a registration code expired. I gave up. I don't recommend getting any of their products. It is a pitty my builder chose to work with them. Going to buy a normal thermostat that you can actually use.
1 ★This app is almost useless. I had to have a tech come out to reset the thermostat to even get to use the app. I can't set an away schedule for when I leave work and come home! It's pretty annoying that I have to constantly sign in and out. If you really feel that's necessary then we should be able to use the fingerprint option. You would think this app was a little better functioning than what it is. The geofencing completely overrides the schedule so it's not working correctly 🙄 Yall suck!
1 ★I would give it a 0 if possible. This is one of the worst apps I've ever encountered. The app obviously was an afterthought. It is badly designed. The company needs to hire a UI designer. The thermostat UI and the app look like they were developed by morons. The instructions to connect with the thermostat, a 7C, don't work. My house came with their thermostat, but I have replaced it with a Nest, which is a better thermostat and has a way better UI and app.
1 ★after spending almost an hour on the phone with Cor, they finally have my phone and thermostat linked. Sadly many features on the app (when pressed) say coming soon. when? also it's super glitchy and continually logs out. lastly the history is littered with all these occurrences that happened long before my install, and keeps sending me warning messages about failed solid state relays which is not at all accurate. my advice is save your money as this is a huge headache!!!
1 ★This is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever seen. Getting this thing connected is next to impossible. I stepped through the instructions multiple times, only too find out that the only way to make it work is to setup the wifi, then log out, then log back in and then connect - you can't do it at the same time, but the ridiculously complicated instructions don't bother to tell you that. Its horrible...DO NOT BUY THIS THERMOSTAT!!!
1 ★This is the second worst app I've ever used. The pairing of the device is so difficult. I had to add the devices in iOS version then I could see them in the Android app. Once operating, the thermostat setting are confusing and sometimes contradict. For example, if you set the air to circulate during a period it will override the manual setting.
