5 ★This app is so perfect for cruisers, especially if you wanna make new cruising friends. I recommend it. Not only do you make friends with your cruise neighbors but you get lots of information that the cruise app dont give you. For example you can see real pictures of your room and post your room too so others can see. You can also ask questions on their own chat section, you can locate the ship in real time. I mean this app is so useful. Check it out yourself!
1 ★The advertising banner is far too large and intrusive. It pretty much takes over the Cruise listing screen. This is AFTER the update which "reduces the space taken and removes the boldness of the sponsorship on the cruise countdown screen and removed the sponsorship on the widget." I used to love this app, now I hate it and will not be using it as much if at all in the future. Its a shame. but seems to be time to look for something else I guess.....
5 ★Great App to use for cruise research! I will even suggest the App to other cruisers! I was able to find my literary from past cruises also! The Ship Mate app is easy to use and understand! I enjoy getting the emails (that I signed up for) about price changes on future cruises that I may book! The price watch is an awesome addition to the App! Happy Cruising Everyone!
3 ★I love the concept but the delivery isn't always great. We noticed mistakes in our cruise itinerary and contacted them to notify them that it was incorrect. 3 months later we sailed and it was still incorrect. For our next cruise, the deck plans are out of date and don't reflect the current state of the ship. Otherwise, great place for questions and sharing.
5 ★This app is amazing!! It's so informative even going as far as to send me alerts when my cruise price dropped. Thanks to their alert, I was able to call the cruiseline and get a cabin upgrade. I also love being able to chat with experienced cruisers that are so pleasant and quick to answer questions or give advice. This app has more info than my direct cruiseline app!!! I love it!!!
5 ★It's not the type of app I use day to day. But when I had a problem with the app, within the app I let the developer know. They respond quickly and soon I had everything back, small panic over. Why panic? Because as I found out it's invaluable. As my one stop cruise related. It's not dedicated to one cruise line, which is great as I don't have to figure out how to navigate to get information related to the up coming cruise and excursions which is from a different line from the last or next one.
4 ★I absolutely love the app and use it daily. It's a great way to be informed about other ships and places to visit on future cruises. but theres a few things I would like to see added. 1) Royal Caribbean Deck cams 2) group messaging with others 3)keyword search option in feeds (so i can search for previous post on a topic like formal night instead of posting one again)
1 ★This app used to be very informative. Now it seems like it's full of nothing but a bunch of whiny entitled babies that only want to complain about their ship or stops or excursions. When I used this app for our cruise last year it was easy to post a message or question. Now it seems that you can't even do that. There are only limited items you can choose to chat about.
5 ★Love being able to meet and talk with fellow cruisers . The tracking feature is great , was able to track my grandson's cruise a few weeks back and could see each day if his ship had made port on time lol. Also like being able to get familiar with all the ship decks for our upcoming cruise.
5 ★Ship Mates has been very helpful to my mother and I. It gives us every little detail leaving nothing to be forgotten about, and everything to be know. The excursions are very detailed. I love how the people are so willing to share their experiences, and looking at all of the great photos. Thank You Ship Mates!!
5 ★This app has.been a great help in planning our cruise!! I have used it everyday!! I've planned excursions and figured out what to do on each port! It also has the map of the ships. We will know how to get around when we board. I just love it!
5 ★Enjoy the countdown clock which comes in two options (easy to toggle back in forth between both options). Other wonderful features include networking with other like-minded cruisers, viewing port and ship pictures, tips on money saving ideas/alternatives for excursions, ship and port detailed reviews (all cruise lines) and a price alert option for your cruise.
