vToms Passenger app is free to use, why not become a vToms Passenger to quickly and easily call or book a fully licensed registered vToms Taxi / Private Hire / Mini Cab with minimum fuss.Registering is easy, just name, address, email and phone number will get you on our system as a new vToms Passenger and allow the viewing of all vehicles in your area available for hire. Click on a car to see the full details of the licensed vToms - Taxi Driver, Private Hire or Mini Cab Driver and their vehicle details and also how much each vToms Driver charges per mile.
The option to call any available car will place an icon as a waiting passenger representing you on the map. The waiting passenger icon is made visible to all available vToms Drivers in the area.
By using the built in filters vToms Passengers can choose to see only vToms Taxis or vToms Private Hire and even better, build yourself a list of vToms Favourite Drivers and view their status on your map.
Location is acquired via the device’s built in GPS to correctly show where you are, but in the case that it is incorrect the option to type in your pickup address is available with the addition of saving it to a user defined favourite places list for future re-use for convenience.
Once a call has been accepted by a vToms Driver, vehicle tracking is displayed allowing clear viewing of its progress to the required location.
All that’s left to do is just pay the driver at the end of journey.
If no vToms drivers show on the map in your area, please encourage your regular Taxi/Private Hire/Mini Cab driver to download and register on vToms Driver app so that you can make direct contact in the future without the usual fuss involved with the traditional way of calling.
