A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Atrocious. Extremely awkward to connect for the first time. And all that effort was a total waste, since it is only compatible with two apps useless to me (Facebook and Line search). No Waze, no Google Maps, no Spotify, no Audible. And I question the mental sanity on who decided to make Facebook priority, for people to use it while driving. If this app was any worse, it would be a malware. Shame on you Nissan.
2 ★while the app is useful to link to my frontier's factory system, it is pretty useless. the 2016 model sound/entertainment system is feature/capability-less. iheart radio, and pandora work well just using the bluetooth function of my phone, without the need for this nissan app. if this app were updated, or even better... a firmware update to the factory stereo for improvements would be very nice. ..again this app is useless. maybe if it could report motor info, or oil change monitor.
1 ★Absolute waste of time and space. Firstly on starting the installation process it advises it is a 2016 version and may not be compatible with the phones operating system. I have a 2018 Nissan and the phone a 2019 model. It appears there have been NO UPDATES whatsoever since its launch. It just sits and searches until timing out. Trying to use a pre installed Car App needing Wi-Fi gives a message that NissanConnect needs to be installed to the phone first!!! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER NISSAN.
1 ★Woefully disappointing, having to click through multiple screens to get to the features is a lame design. the buttons should be on the main screen without having to go through layers of web pages. Worst "convenience" app I've ever seen. Beyond disappointing and one would expect more from Nissan. Simply put, this app doesn't provide any value over the key fob and completely misses the mark so I won't even consider a pay subscription.
1 ★The app is terrible. Never connects when you need it and the car denies that you've even got a phone connected. Such a shame as its a nice idea but fails miserably. Come on Nissan. Don't give up on the owners of slightly older cars - we need an update to improve the reliability of the app and allow us to actually use it for the designed purpose. Don't just concentrate on the newer cars with Android and Apple car stuff. We deserve to be respected and looked after too.
1 ★Well, it's almost 2 years since Nissan updated this app!!! so what's the point of creating an app for Connect if you're not going to update it. Come on, Nissan...do the decent thing and roll out an update for both the old and new Connect systems so it will work with the latest mobile phones, otherwise this app is useless.
1 ★It crashes literally everytime I use it. I thought maybe it was due to signal loss or something but it happens when that can't be the case. I have gotten to the point where it's just not worth it to use because you get maybe 10 mins before it crashes and then you have to try and deal with getting Nav or Audio up via some other means. This app seriously needs some bug fixes!
1 ★Complete garbage, refuses to connect, doesn't support the latest Android versions, poor app selection, constantly draining battery. If I had paid for the infotainment package and this is what they gave me I would have my pitchfork at the ready! The best thing anyone can do that's plagued by this garbage is to go get themselves an Android Auto compatible aftermarket headunit and have it installed. I'd say blow their customer support up too, but they really don't care...
2 ★Just installed and tried to see what this can do. I wasn't interested in radio stuff and only thing that may potentially be useful was the Google Search. But not worth installing this app for that. I saw my friend using an app like this on his Honda that allowed him to use Google Navigation instead of car's navigation system. Well, I can't do such thing with this app. It was useless for me.
1 ★Last update in 2017? Come on people... It's 2019 and we have android 9. Was told that for my qashqai end of 2017 model I just bought, I'd be able to connect maps etc, but nothing exists.... So disappointing. Still using my smartphone to navigate. Was always a fan of Japanese cars, hat a 3 year break with Mercedes and was actually happy to return to Japanese cars, but what a disappointment.
1 ★No updates since 2017!??? This whole time I thought my Nissan's Bluetooth had stopped working because of something I had or had not done. So ridiculous. UPDATE: In the FAQs.. "After my subscription to NissanConnect Mobile Apps expires, can I pay to keep the service? No, NissanConnect Mobile Apps is a complimentary service that is being discontinued." So, if it's discontinued why don't you just say so on this App do we don't have to waste so much time trying to figure it out. –1 Star
1 ★brutal. it diesnt even let me customize texts, did before but now keeps saying not compatable with my Samsung 8! What? the maps are horrible and wrong. Where is the update? It's a 2 yrs old 2016 Platinum Murano . my 2nd one. My fav car but for 60 000$ it lacks features I paid to have. Hands free NOT. USELESS AND FEATURES IN NAV WANTS MORE $ FOR WHAT IS STANDARD WITH YOUR COMPETITION! Oh cant forget 7 recalls in 2 yrs.!
