Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Love NPR but where are "the bay" episodes?
5 ★great
1 ★The KQED app sucks! They are more interested in repeating sponsor ads, than providing a reliable stream. Every one to five minutes it stops streaming. A manual restart is required, which triggers listening to a sponsor ad again, and again, and again. Forget this app, get a transistor radio instead. Cell service providers could unlock the FM radio in our cell phones, but their greed prevents them from doing something for our convinence.
1 ★Very unreliable. Audio stream cuts out unpredictably all the time, like every 5-10 minutes, and then you have to click play again and wait for it to buffer and listen to another ad. KQED, please make this app work properly!
1 ★It doesn't work reliably . Sometimes the UI loads, I click play, it says "Buffering..." for a little and then no sound. (The media sound is turned up, etc.) Other times it just seems to crash.
2 ★So. When I first installed this, I had no problem. It was glorious. I was able to listen to CA Report podcast, which is why I downloaded it. Opened it today and nada! It doesn't play. Nothing. I'm rather disappointed. :/
1 ★Now I remember why I don't support pbs. Too many racist black programs!!!!!!
1 ★One think that don't like from this apps that will not shutdown or runs in background. I have to restart phone to get rid off it. In addition constaly trashes..
1 ★On Android 7.1.1 I've never had sound. Internal speakers, plugged or Bluetooth headphones, I get nothing. The app says it's playing. Never had an issue on iOS. I've resorted to listening via a browser.
1 ★Installed, tried Livestream, was greeted with "bad gateway" error, and that's that. Really disappointing, for a station headquartered in a virtual capital of tech...
3 ★It crashes when I open it , on the second time it doesn't. When a call , or map notification streams it rebuffed for about 30 seconds
2 ★All this needs to do is stream reliably which it fails miserably at. Other streaming apps work flawlessly so I don't know why they can't fix it.
